The house was massive- I could easily get lost and I'm surprised that all the maids know exactly which corridors leads to where. 'Mia.' I recognised the voice- Charlie's Dad. 'Good morning, sir.' I smiled. 'Did you have a good sleep?' Nodding my head in response, he walked over to a chair and I sat beside him. 'You're not really his fiancee, are you?' I avoided eye contact, 'Sir, I really am getting married to him. ' He shook his head, 'Don't lie to me, Mia.' With that I decided to give up- he was a clever man and I was a terrible liar. 'I knew from the start you guys were pretending. Charlie isn't the type of guy that would...' He paused, looking at me up and down, '...go for you.' It was true though. 'That's why I'm making you an offer. I want him to experience what love really is. Make him fall for you.' 'What?' I frowned. 'I'll double your pay.' 'But-' 'I'll triple it!' I could tell he seemed pretty desperate so I sighed, 'Alright, sir.' 'But in one condition...' He paused, 'Don't you DARE fall in love with him, or I get all my money back...'
