*A couple of days later*

I flicked through my money- five-hundred and forty-six pounds and still not half as much as I needed. This past few days I've been working my butt off, taking loans and putting all of our savings together. I slowly walked towards my mum's room and peeked through the windows. She needs surgery urgently but I can't seem to find the money to pay for it. I had tears streaming down my face as I opened the door and sat beside her. Grasping her hand, I squeezed it tightly. 'Please hang on, mum. I'll find money don't worry.' All of a sudden a machine started bleeping and I had no idea why, my mum started shaking slowly then shook faster and faster. 'Nurse?!!' I screeched, trying to understand what was going on. I ran out, screamed for help and after a couple of seconds a few nurses started running towards me. I couldn't bare see my mum like that and so I did it. I slid my hand in my bag, grabbing my phone. My hand shook endlessly as I slowly dialled Charlie's Dad's number. 'Hello?' He answered. 'Hi, sir...' I muttered, 'Can I talk to you?'
