*Mia's P.O.V*
It was probably nine in the evening when I felt someone get into bed next to me. To be honest, I wasn't even tired but I wanted to avoid Charlie for a little while. I want him to experience what I felt when he was spending all those times with Bella. 'Mia?' He mumbled. He stared at me for a moment but because I had my back turned on him, he probably figured I was fast asleep. He sighed as he laid on his back beside me, then, he mumbled a few words to himself but it was too quiet for me to hear properly. I could feel his head turn to face me, 'You don't know how much I've practiced saying this to myself in front of the mirror.' He chuckled, 'Well considering you're asleep, I'll practice again before I say it to you tomorrow.' There was a moment of silence before he started, 'The two weeks you were gone, I realised how important you actually are to me.' I smiled to myself and listened carefully, 'You were always there to make me laugh, you looked after me and you made me feel like I can be a man. I know I never treated you right but whilst you were gone, I promised that when you come back- I'll do everything you say and of course follow all those rules you made up before all this even happened.' He coughed, 'Mia, I am truly ever so sorry but you know what I learnt when you were gone?' He paused, 'I actually... really... truly... like you.' He shook his head, 'Damn it! I can't say that! She'll think I'm weird.' I thought to myself, '...and I like you too but of course life isn't fairytale, there's always a villain that somehow ruins everything.'
