S U R I - S I M O N EMy feet carried me to the doorstep of the modernized abode, turning to face Axel. He watched carefully from the step below, making sure that I got inside my home safely.
"I had a great time tonight, you really know how to make a girl forget about all of her troubles." I joke while smiling.
He laughs, brushing over his chin hairs. "It brings joy to my heart knowing I was able to do that, and I also enjoyed your presence as well."
He stepped up by one, meeting me halfway and kissed me gently on the cheek. My body tingled and filled with warmth right after, causing my eyes to flutter out of pure bliss.
"–Maybe the next time we could do a rendition of some Asap Ferg." He laughs, and I immediately grow embarrassed. He heard my concert from earlier today, god knows I sound like a dying whale when singing or rapping.
I bury my head in my hand. "I'm so embarrassed right now, how much did you hear?"
He cleared his throat and rapped. "Dirty van bitches wanna suck my dick off."
I think my soul might've left my body on that step. Hearing him trying to rap on top of the cursing, it was nerve wrecking in a good way. "Never speak of this to anyone, or I will kill you."
He chuckles. "Kill a cop? You could never get away with that, but my lips are sealed. I should probably get going though, a girl like you needs her beauty sleep."
I playfully fluttered my eyelashes and waved him off. He was such a flirt and knew all the right things to say. "Goodnight, Axel."
"Sweet dreams, mi amor." He walks down the steps, strutting to his home next door while I closed the front door, met with the sound of a lamp turning on in the living room.
"–And where have you been, Miss lady?" Taryn's soft voice spoke with a hint of sass.
I cut my eyes at her, shaking my head at the sight of her. The nerve of her to sit in the chair as if she were my mother, I laugh. "I went out with the new neighbor."
She damn near fell out her seat trying to get to me, pulling on my arm and jumping up and down. "Ohmygod, girl! Tell me everything."
She dragged me into the kitchen by my forearm and I shook my head. "Nothing really happened." I try to put on, but of course that's a lie.
She gave me that "Bitch, please." look and grabbed a wine glass, pouring some moscato halfway. "You're a bad liar. You mean to tell me, you went out with that fine ass man and nothing happened?"
I nod, but broke out into smiles just thinking about the kisses he planted on my cheek several times, which she catches on to.
"Oooo, he kissed you!?" She squeals.
"Yes he kissed me, but it wasn't anything serious, he was just being friendly. We danced to a spanish song, which by the way he translated and his voice is so soothing and ugh, he's really not that bad of a guy."
Her thick eyebrows furrowed with confusion. "So what's holding you back from pursuing him? He seems to be a decent guy, obviously he can hold down his own, not to mention he's a full on ten."
