A X E L - N I C O L Á S

To see her, to even hear her refer to me as just her neighbor, it sent something in me into jealousy overdrive. How could she after I've been straightforward with my feelings for her? It's okay, I have solutions for situations like this.

In all honesty, I did have some plumbing issues going on, but it was just a mere runny toilet, which my landlord could fix easily, but I exaggerated it only to get closer to Suri, except she had that clown show up at her doorstep instead.

Because I had been in an f-d up mood since seeing that, I decided to have a little get back. I made sure to wait until she arrived home before calling over the waitress, who just so happened to slip me her number on the back of my receipt from last night, and I had no intentions of calling her until this happened.

From the sound of her voice, she was anticipating something more than offered, and because it would work out perfectly for me, I agreed to just sex.

I peeked from the window to see Suri and her friend pulling into the driveway, and as they walked up the stairs, he couldn't keep his hands from her body. That should be me rubbing up and down her back, gripping her shoulders softly, a little squeeze of reassurance.

She said some things to him, patting him on the shoulder as she waved him goodbye, and I felt a little better. She hadn't kissed him or anything, similar to how she let me off last night.

I managed to clean up a bit, changing into a pair of loose fitted plaid pants and a fresh grey shirt from the dryer. There was no need to do anything special, it was only a quick fuck and nothing more would follow.

The sound of the doorbell echoing in the hall caught my attention, pulling me in the direction of the front door. I looked through the window to see Caterina standing there, an oversized trench coat enveloping her small, yet curvy frame, even though it had to have been seventy-five degrees outside. I opened the front door, greeting the beautiful brunette with a quick hug.

"I'm shocked it took you this long to finally reach out to me." She jokes, a smile plastered on her freckled face.

She doesn't know, even though I reached out, it doesn't mean that I'd look forward to doing it again. I've noticed, even though her and I have encountered each other once, she's definitely giving it up to the other guys, or any decent male she sees step foot into that bar. Not that I care, but just glancing at her the few times that I did, other men gawked and drooled at such a lady dressed in the most skimpiest outfit she could pull from the back of her closet. Most of them had the audacity to feel on her arms and rump, so it's not rocket science to figure out that I'm not the only one.

"Yeah, I had some things to sort out, but everything's alright now." I respond, locking the front door and directing her into the kitchen. There, I grabbed a bottle of red wine from the pantry and two crystal clear wine glasses from the cabinet, pouring us each a drink.

"I thought you were going to say something about that purple-haired girl you had with you the other night, god knows she could never give you the things that I could." She teases, biting the edge of her lip slightly.

I frowned up at her rude comment; Suri had nothing to do with her, so why mention her. My nostrils flared and I shook my head "She is none of your business, and just to warn you, she isn't to be spoken of."

Her eyes widened, shocked that I used such a stern tone with her, but I don't care. I care about Suri enough to not let anyone disrespect her, regardless of the circumstances.

Caterina remained quiet until I spoke. "What is it that you're hiding underneath that coat, hermosa?"

She placed the wine glass to her lips, letting the red liquid coat them before taking a sip and licking her lips afterwards. She left a plum colored lipstick stain on the outer edge of the glass. "Well, why don't you come over and remove it and see for yourself?'
