Part 8

Austin put the car in park and quickly ran over to my side. He opened the down and helped me down from his range rover. He's such a gentleman!

"Austin it's just lunch, why Olive Garden?" I asked giggling. Austin had a stupid grin on his face then whole ride there and trust me when I say it hasn't left! "Well, I REALLY like Olive Garden and I REALLY like you so why not?" he said. I looked down blushing as we walked in the building hand in hand.

"Booth or table?" the waitress asked with a smile. "Booth" Austin said before I even had time to think about the question. I looked up and he smiled down at me. Austin is quite a bit taller than me but in my opinion we look cute.

The waitress showed us to our booth and gave us our menus. Austin and I say on the same side so we could be closer to each other. Without hesitation he put his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. We sat there trying to pick out our food and finally our waitress came to take our order.

She greeted us with a smile until Austin and I looked up. Her smile quickly faded as if her heart shattered them and there. She glared at me with hate in her eyes, then she looked at Austin and it seemed like she was going to cry. I turned to see Austin and he looked like he had just seen a ghost! I was really confused but finally she spoke. "Can I get you two something to drink?" she asked. Being the nice person I am I politely replied and said I would like a glass of water and Austin shyly asked for a coke. After this we ordered our food. Austin got alfredo and I got a salad.

After she left I turned to Austin and gave him the "what the hell just happened?" look. He sighed before saying "I suppose I owe you an explanation."

"Her name is Jayden. We went to middle school together and we both liked each other... a lot." He paused and turned so he was looking me in the eyes. "One day in 7th grade I asked her out. We dated in middle school, and I know what you're thinking, but we really had something or at least I thought we did. One day I walked in on her and some other guy sucking face and it broke my heart. But now I'm with you and you're all I want! We've been dating for a day and I already like you more than I liked her."

I was almost in tears after the last few sentences. I'm falling head over heels for Austin.

"I believe you Austin. I never want to lose you." I said trying not to cry.

The rest of the meal we talked about anything and everything. I felt more than comfortable around Austin and as far as I know the feeling is mutual. Jayden thankfully didn't cause any disruptions, so lunch was a success!

We were in the car driving back to my house. The radio was on and we were casually listening to it and enjoying each other's company. Then the song "Beautiful Soul" by Jesse McCartney came on and I, of course, turned it up.

As I was listening to the song Austin suddenly started singing along.

" I don't want another pretty face,

I don't want just anyone to hold!" he sang as he occasionally glanced at me but still watching the road.

" I don't want my love to go to waste!

I want you and your beautiful soul!!" Being the loser I am I started crying.

"oh jeez babe I'm sorry! please don't cry, I won't sing if it upsets you.." I cut him off "No dummy I'm crying because it was perfect! Your voice is amazing!" I practically yelled. Austin blushed a little which I found adorable.

"Jasmine...." Austin said almost in a whisper. "Yeah?" I replied. "I love you." he said. I thought I was going to pass out.. I never thought someone so perfect could love me! "I love you too Austin." I smiled.

We stopped at a red light. When it turned green Austin accelerated like you should when out of nowhere I see a huge truck coming at us!

"AUSTIN!!" I scream grabbing his hand and squeezing it. The last thing I heard were horns honking and all I saw was flashing lights then Austin's beautiful hazel eyes looking into mine...
