"I..." Caroline trailed off as the two scorned lovers stood in front of each other. "I have nothing to say to you."
"No, you do," Sam answered with his usual smirk that caused Caroline's cheeks to burn. She wanted to attack him and snap his neck for causing her pain but the other part of her body felt relieved he was even alive and standing in front of her.
Caroline then rolled her eyes and looked away finally as Sam's smile faltered slowly. "What are you doing here?" she then questioned as Sam looked around. It was quite late already so there weren't any people around.
He started to walk towards her until Caroline couldn't back off from her dorms' door. "Believe it or not, I've missed you."
She wanted to act that she hated hearing it. Caroline thought she had gotten over Sam but it was a lie she fed herself with. "Back off, Sam Rhee, because I'm gonna scoop your eyes out of your eye sockets."
Sam then placed his one hand on the wall near her head as he leaned forward to her with a wicked smile. "What a threat."
"Caroline?" suddenly Sam heard a low and masculine voice before he turned his head to his left to see a tall man stand in the doorway with a questioning and protective look. "Is he bothering you?"
Sam turned back to Caroline who looked more than overwhelmed. "New boyfriend? What happened to the wolf boy?" he asked curiously so Caroline pulled away from him. She was still too afraid to touch him as Sam turned back to the male.
"No. It's okay, Jesse."
"Jesse..." Sam trailed off as he already claimed Jesse as his rival. Though Sam was about a hundred percent sure he'd win Caroline. He won against Klaus, what to talk about Tyler.
"Yeah," Jesse then walked over to them as he glanced back from Caroline to Sam. Jesse waited for Sam to introduce himself but Sam was not gonna do anything. Simply because he wasn't interested in Jesse, just what he was to Caroline.
Jesse felt the narcissistic personality of Sam that made him scrunch his nose a little and then smile at Caroline. "Well, we still going to that Cemetery thing tomorrow?" he asked her brightly so Caroline mustered a quick smile and nodded her head. "Great then. You sure I can-"
"Yes," Sam was the one to answer as he waited patiently for Jesse to walk off. "I am a psychopath but Caroline's strong in her own way."
Caroline smiled tightly so Jesse finally decided to leave them alone. When he was out of sight Caroline grabbed Sam by his jacket before she pushed him against the wall. "Don't you dare to do anything to Jesse!" she hissed as he felt vibrant when she finally had her hands on him.
