SAM TRIED TO KEEP UP WITH SO MANY THINGS THAT HAPPENED. Apparently, Bonnie died before the graduation, Katherine was turned into human and Tyler was back, much to Sam's annoyance.
Tessa was still trying to reach out to Sam but he ignored her dreams, visions and voices that he heard in his head. He needed a plan to kill Silas and get his powers back if that would work. Sam really thought that meeting Qetsiyah would help him, that he would get his amazing gift back but she just told him stories from his first past life. Or at least Sam couldn't see an important reason why she was telling him all that.
It was a beautiful day in Whitmore College as Sam was walking around the campus as if he was a student too. He was wearing black pants with a dark navy shirt and nothing else. The weather was too hot for a man like Sam Rhee and yet he enjoyed the rays of light hitting his exposed skin.
Elena Gilbert was sitting on a bench outside, writing something into a journal when someone sat down next to her. She knew who it was somehow and sighed before glancing at Sam who smiled. "It's been three months, Elena," he commented as she mused and closed her journal.
"Caroline told me you're back..." she trailed off weirdly. Elena still had no idea whether Sam was her friend or an enemy.
Sam smirked knowingly. "Last time we met you were an emotionless bitch still," he remembered her one of her darkest periods. Elena rolled her brown eyes and looked away. "Sorry, I'm just a little irritated."
Elena furrowed her eyebrows and looked back at Sam's handsome shining face. He hadn't change much during the time she didn't see him. He still was viciously attractive. "Why is that?" she questioned him curiously. For the first time that day she didn't think about Bonnie.
"Tyler Lockwood is back for good, isn't he?" Sam mused, his eyes dull so Elena chuckled to herself and gave him her full attention. Sam knew she was going to be sassy with him and the only person he could handle being sassy was Caroline.
"Stop it, Sam. I think you lost your shot with Caroline the night you left," she commented, for the sake of her friend and him too. Elena didn't want Caroline to date someone so unstable as Sam - even if he had proven to be very nice and sacrificing in the past.
Sam's eyes narrowed as he clicked his tongue. "Oh please. You had lost your shot with Damon so many times before and look at you two now!" he exclaimed and Elena had no idea how Sam knew so much about everyone. "Yes, your relationship is doomed to fail because of Stefan and the whole doppelgänger connection but, I mean, you're still with Damon..."
