Your house was alive with friends and family who came to celebrate you and your fiancé. The music was loud and obnoxious, the liquor was flowing, and you looked gorgeous in your flowing dress and heels.

While having a conversation with some old college friends, you felt arms embrace you from behind.

"Congratulations, Y/N!" You recognized that voice anywhere. Your best friend since freshman year of college had finally arrived. She held a polka dotted gift bag and placed it in your hands.

"Thank you, Dee! You didn't have to bring us anything? You're the maid of honor," you smiled. "I see you put on tonight, though. Tight dress and red lipstick...You going catching? You might get you a husband tonight," you questioned playfully.

"Girl, please! I don't want none of these uglies from college in my face," she answered. "Plus, this night ain't about me. It's about you getting that beautiful ring on your hand," she smiled.
"Speaking of, where your man at?" Dee asked.

"He's around here somewhere, probably talking with his line brothers or something."

"Oh, okay...I got to piss. I'll be back," she mentioned before running off into the crowd towards the bathroom.

I shook my head and went back to partying. Just when I was getting back into my little groove, Algee popped up.

"Hey, hubby!" I smirked.

"Hey, baby girl. You feeling good?"

"Yeah, I'm straight." you laughed.

"Okay. Good!" he chuckled, "Did Dee ever show up?"

"Yeah! She went to the restroom not too long ago...Since when have y'all been so concerned about each other's whereabouts?" you questioned.

"You know...we just wanted to make this whole wedding process as easy as possible for you. You shouldn't have to deal with us arguing all the time. We just putting our differences aside for you,"

"Aww, babe," you giggled, "I like that y'all are finally getting along. Y'all couldn't stand each other in college. Remember?"

"How could I forget?"

"I'm glad y'all held it together for my sake," you smiled and squished his cheeks for a kiss.

He entertained you for a little while longer, until he got an alert on his phone.

"Babe, I'll be right back." he kissed you on the cheek and walked hurriedly in some other direction. He didn't even give you a chance to respond.

About twenty minutes had passed and your parents and future parents were pressuring you to find Algee and give everyone the 'We are so happy you came! Please be at the wedding!" speech. You didn't even know where to find Algee and you didn't want everyone in your house trying to look for him either.

Algee has still been getting on your nerves as of late. Maybe it was the stress of planning a wedding and trying to keep you happy that was getting to him. However he kept forgetting important dates like your cake testing day and he forgot to pick up his tux on time earlier this week. He keeps having random mood swings and there has been subtle changes in the things he likes. It's bothered you and you have spoken to close members of your family and Dee about it, of course. They all agree that it's just stress changing him, but you can't help to second guess.

You sighed and began searching the main floor. Bathrooms, the kitchen, the lounge room, his studio and every room in between. He was definitely upstairs.
