"Hey Bentley." I said.

"Hey Meghan." He said.

"How was your stepdad last night?" I asked.

"He called me a stupid fag because I didn't do good on the test." He said.

"I'm sorry you'll get it next time." I said.

"I can't take any more from him Meghan." He said.

"I know but 3 years I promise then you'll be able to leave." I said.

"I don't know if I can wait that long." He said.

"Hey don't talk like that please." I said.

"Ok." He said.

"Come on let's go to the library." I said grabbing his hand.

AT THE END OF THE DAY

"Hey thanks for being there for me." He said.

"It's no problem that's what best friends are for." I said.

"I love you a lot Meghan." He said tearing up.

"Hey there no reason to cry." I said hugging him.

"It just means a lot that someone cares your probably think I'm a cry baby now." He said.

"No I don't hey I'll come to your house later ok." I said.

"Ok see you then." He said.

LATER

"Bentley! I'm here!" I yelled but there was no response.

"Bentley?" I asked. I walked up stairs and saw my best friend hanging from the ceiling fan he hung himself.

"NOO!!" I cried.

I woke up in my room and realized it was only just a dream

"Oh my god." I said.

"What's wrong?" Aaron asked.

"Just a bad dream." I said then it hit me.

"Aaron what are you still doing here?" I asked.

"We fell asleep watching a movie I was gonna leave but then I heard you tossing and turning I wanted to make sure you were ok."

"Thank you Aaron." I said hugging him.

"No problem baby girl." He said kissing my head.

"As much as I'd love to stay I have a feeling your parents would kill me." He added.

"Probably." I said taking his sweater off.

"No you keep that I've got plenty at home." He said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah I'll see ya later." He said.

"Bye." I said and Aaron left.

"Thank you." I said.
