Sicriu returns to camp with the mood noticeably lighter. Another unanimous vote brings the tribe closer together, and they expect the tribe atmosphere to be far more peaceful and unified.

Karan: "I'm very happy that Hlane went. He was saying that I'm inactive. I was inactive for one day, unlike him. And the main problem wasn't even that. The main problem is that he's very annoying"

Devin: "right now, I kind of feel like I'm on top, and sort of in charge. I have tight alliance with everyone except Little buggy and Goku. I know the two on the bottom are probably throwing my name out, but it'll be very difficult for them to be able to get me out, since the idol is in my pocket, and I have people close to me, and will tell me if I'm in trouble, so if you they are going for me, they will have a very hard time achieving their goal."

"Good night everyone!" someone calls out, and they all sleep together in the shelter. Glad they have the next few days off for the holidays, the Sicriu tribe rests and enjoys their break.

Over the break, not much happens. Bisturiu gets closer. One afternoon, Nessa, still in Australian mode, runs around and says Merry Christmas to everyone! However, she realizes too late that it's still Christmas Eve back in the states.

Several observant Bisturiu members notice, but they don't think much of it. In fact, it lessens the target on her back because now her tribemates won't assume she's a "big player."

Briar: "Well Jar Jar is stupid. He sent me a message saying Merry Christmas at 4 PM my team. If it's actually Christmas for him he's at least 8 hours ahead of me, making him somewhere in Europe. That's really narrows down who he is. Rip him I guess. My guesses are he's either Karan, parafin, or Razor. Either way he's not a threat to me which is good to know"

After the break, the tribes are feeling notably refreshed but also eager to get back to playing. As the sun rises above the mountains, Fischer sits by the fire making breakfast for his tribe and delivers a confessional.

Fischer: "I think the two dead days did all of us a favor. At least it did for me. But now, it's back to the game. The game is still early with 17 people left. I need to get to work if I want to make my first FTC ever and hopefully win it on the first try."

He serves out the rice for his tribe while they wait for Treemail. Finally it comes in, and Razor reads it out loud to the tribe.

TREEMAIL:

Today's challenge dates way back,
Testing all sorts of skills we hope you don't lack.
Brush up on your trivia and general info,
And don't throw your unscrambles out the window.

As they sit around the fire eating rice, they pledge to try their hardest in the challenge to win it. Although there is a majority alliance, everybody has talked with one another, and many members are utilizing the "parachuting" technique. No fingers have been pointed at anyone, though threats do begin to emerge.

Fischer: "The biggest threat right now on our tribe is probably Soos. Just because of how social he is. I've learned that social is the most important aspect of the game and Soos has that skill down. Good think he's in my alliance or I'd be done for."

Cia: "Now bringing in the Sicriu tribe, Parker Coppins voted out at the last tribal council."

Bisturiu shrugs and looks at each other, unsurprised, as Cia introduces the challenge, which is a three-part competition involving trivia, an unscramble, and a quizzing challenge. She specifically notes how the unscramble is VERY HARD and tells the tribe that they may work together to solve it.
