Iris sat on her couch waiting for the Netflix screen to load on her tv, a bowl of popcorn beside her. She grew bored when it didn't load so she put on her slippers and decided to pay a visit to the front desk to see if a package she had ordered, had arrived. When she was opening the door, iris heard a groan.
"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I didn't see you!" Iris apologized to the person who she hit with her door.
A blonde girl chuckled at her. She look the same age as iris, and had a nose ring. "It's fine, really. I wasn't looking where I was going. I just wanted to get moving over with." She said and looked at all the moving boxes she had. "I'm madison. I'm just moving in like three doors down."
Madison smiled at iris and held out her hand for her to shake, which iris did. "Do you need help? I'm more than happy to help." Iris asked.
Madison shook her head. "No, it's okay. My brother is actually coming in a few minutes to help me get settled, but thank you for offering. I guess I'll be seeing you around."
Iris nodded. "Yeah, I'll see you around." The redhead waved goodbye at her, "hope you enjoy your stay here!" She called out as she made her way towards the elevators.
"Really? 'Enjoy your stay here'? I'm such a loser." Iris said to herself as the elevator doors closed.

Iris found Emma, the manager of the apartment building. "Hey, emma! Did the delivery guy showed up yet?" She leaned on the counter.
"Yeah, and so did a flower delivery guy. These are for you and here is your package." Emma handed iris her package and a small bouquet of flowers. It wasn't just one kind, it was several. She looked for a note, when she one one, she smiled to herself.
"Lover boy couldn't contain himself?" Emma asked, not bothering to look up from her computer.
"He's not my lover boy, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me like that."

It was around eleven o'clock when iris decided that a trip to McDonald's sounded good. She got into her car and drove to the nearest McDonald's. As she got out of her car, she noticed a familiar face waiting at a table.
She smiled and entered the building and went to wait in line.
"Iris?" Joe's voice called out.
She turned around and tried to look confused. "Me? You're talking to me right?"
Joe stood up from his spot and walked towards her. "You're iris aren't you? Unless I'm drunk right now and called a random person iris."
"Oh don't mention the word drunk anywhere near me! Not until I take that image of me drunk out of my mind!" She giggled which made joe smile.
"I mean if you didn't get drunk then you wouldn't have met me."
