The new dog, mandy, whined as she went to sit on iris' lap. It had been almost a full week since joe and her had adopted the dog and all mandy wanted was to cuddle with her new dad, but he was no where in sight, which made her upset.

"I know, mandy, I miss him too. Does that sound like we're together?" Iris asked the dog, stroking her fur. All mandy did was blink at her.

"Okay, c'mon, we are going for a walk to get our minds off of your dad." Iris told mandy, which made her way her tail and get off of her owner's lap. Iris grabbed her keys and wallet, walking to the door, mandy following behind. Iris locked her door, as she turned around, she was met with madison's eyes.

"Oh, hey!" Iris greeted her neighbor.

"Hi! Going to take this little cutie on a walk? What's her name?" Madison crouched down and ruffled Mandy's fur.

"Yeah we are. Her name is mandy." Iris nodded. "You going out with friends?"

"Friends? no. Going out? Yeah. Trying to get my mind off of my ex. She was really something." Madison said and continued to pet mandy.

"Oh, she?" Iris asked surprised.

"Yeah, I go both ways. Hope that doesn't change your view on me..." madison turned to iris.

"No, no! Not at all. My friend zack is gay. Yeah, he and his boyfriend were the on again off again couple. But no I think it's getting really serious. Maybe even wedding bells type of serious." Iris chuckled.

"Well if there is any wedding bells, I'll send flowers for the newly weds." Madison smiled at iris. "I'll leave you two cuties to go on your walk. Have fun." Madison waved goodbye and walked down the hall to the elevators.

Iris waved back and turned to mandy. "Did she just call me a cutie?"

Joe had to go back to filming. Although he was missing his new dog and iris, he needed to finish filming. The boys had finished filming the scene where they played 'another one bites the dust' and now they were on a break. Joe sat on his chair with his name on it and scrolled through Instagram.

A lot of his fans were commenting on how cute mandy was and that joe and iris needed to get together asap. A few of them weren't very nice, commenting about how she was probably using him to get followers and she wasn't good enough for him. He ignored those and focused on the positive ones.

"Missing your new family, lover boy?" Gwilym slapped a hand on Joe's back, walking to sit on the chair opposite to him.

"Should I text her? Call? Skype?" Joe shook his head and buried it in his hands. "It's been a long time since I've been in a relationship. I don't know what to do anymore."

"Well you guys obviously like each other so just ask her out, she'll say yes and bam! Mandy won't have divorced parents anymore!" Gwilym explained.

"Hey! Our daughter does not live with divorced parents. Her parents will get together when they want to!" Joe scoffed at his friends words. "If I screw this up, my life is over. Gwil, she's everything I ever wanted in a girl. She's funny, down to earth, she loved baseball! It's hard to find those types of girls, and I happen to find one."
