Chapter 13

Barren POV

I was in my ship monitoring the start of the Vital festival. It's seems is going great. Team Ruby has started the festival. Good, I then started walking around the deck and one of my Lieutenants came. She was out of breath and worried.

Barren: what seems to be the trouble?

She was scared and intimidated by my presence. Just like Darth Vader, everyone feared me.

Lieutenant: s-Sir...the Generals would like to see you in the war room...
Barren: understood

She then escorted  me to the war room but before entering I spoke to her.

Barren: stay close to me lieutenant

She then nodded and I entered first, all my generals where there, including Alex. Also my new Royal Guards were here.

General: Mr Barren we are calling for a mutiny, we believe your not capable of taking action in...this new world

I didn't speak, I let him talk all the trash he wanted before making my move.

General: this is unacceptable, you have only run around this planet making friends and god knows what else I'm taki-
Barren: your a bigger fool than I thought
General: Pardon me?
Barren: we have no contact with the Empire, we are low on resources, and you wanna start a war?

Time skip

I was in one of my personal ship heading towards Beacon when all of a sudden I get ask for an authorization code. I was beyond confused.

Pilot: I'm sorry but we didn't get one, we've been flying around for months and this is the first time
???: new rule set by the Atlas Army while in Vale

I should of known.

Barren: give me that

I took the microphone and spoke

Barren: this Lord Barren, Tell Ironwood that I'm here and if he doesn't want trouble then he must let me pass

He went quiet for a few minutes but then answered;

???: your clear for landing sir...also the General says that your authorization for landing will be Alpha Force 518
Barren: thank you

My god...alpha force 518...who came up with this.

But as I was landing I saw two people fighting.

Alex: look at that, love birds
Willow: why do you say that?
Alex: look at them, their showing off

We then got off and saw that they stopped fighting. Ironwood, Ozpin and Glynda were there with them. I think they are getting in trouble. But then without a notice in the world I felt two people jump in my back.

Ruby&Weiss: Oh my god Barren we missed you!!!

Then everyone were staring at me, including those two.

Barren: it's all fun and great to see you guys again but I need a word with Ironwood here
Ruby: ok!!!
Weiss: we'll be with JNPR if you wanna hang out later
Barren: I'll make sure to call

Then they both nodded and walked off.

I approached Ironwood and he was looking at me with a massive smirk. Like he had control over me.

Barren: Ironwood
Ironwood: Lord Barren

???: excuse me but who's this guy?
Oz: Ms Winter Schnee, this will be Lord Barren the one responsible for the safety of this kingdom
Ironwood: not for long...you see those ships, they are mine, property of Atlas
