Stephen and Cindy Rupp took their two sons on a family vacation. Their oldest son was the apple of their eye. Cindy had wanted a girl. One boy and one girl and their family would be complete. She was...disappointed...when she learned her precious second baby was also a boy. They made the decision that they would get rid of the unwanted child. So, they took a vacation with the sole intention of leaving the defenseless, six-month old baby behind.

Fair skinned, blond, blue-eyed. Adam Henry Rupp was what every adopting couple wanted. Yet he hadn't been left at an orphanage. He had been left out in the middle of the rainforest. With bugs, snakes, and wild animals. They knew what they were doing and didn't even feel bad. They couldn't have predicted what would happen to their son.

He was found by a momma gorilla and was adopted. The small child was looked after and cared for by the forest animals. The human grew and grew. Eighteen years later and he stood a whopping 6'3 tall. His honey-blond hair fell past his shoulder blades. He was very muscular due to all the things he did during the day. Like swinging from tree to tree on vines! He was semi-tan because he spent all day outside but was quite often in the shade due to the tree cover of the forest.

Adam grew to be a happy young man. Hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors. He didn't know any other life but he was happy. Avi Kaplan was touring with his good friends Home Free. This was their first time in the country and they all wanted to take a tour of the rainforest. Avi felt the most contented out in the forest near his California home so he couldn't wait to see an actual rainforest. Their guide gave them rules to follow before setting out from the village.

Something caught Avi's eye and he told Austin he was gonna go check it out. The tenor didn't hear him as the small man took off to check out what he thought he saw. Before long, he discovered he had gotten lost. Panic began to set in as he tried to find his way back. Everything looked the same! Tears began slipping down his cheeks as he realized he was probably going to die alone, without ever finding his true love, so far away from his home and family.

He couldn't see the ground because of the foliage so he didn't see the embankment that was approaching. He looked back because he thought he heard something chasing him. Suddenly he tripped and began tumbling. In his fall, his right leg broke. He screamed out in pain as he continued to tumble. He hit his head on a rock as he came to a stop. Avi laid there unconscious, dirty, in pain, and lost.

Adam had been swinging through trees when he heard Avi screaming. He climbed down a tree and began running towards the screaming man. Others had been out here over the years and he always ran away from them. Man was bad he understood. He wasn't sure what it was about this particular man. He came upon the bleeding, moaning, unconscious man and just stared. The blond tilted his head to the side as he looked at the human before him.

In one swift movement, he picked the smaller man up and whistled. A large Tapir came running up to where the blond stood. He petted the animal's head before laying the strange man over its back. They made the long journey to where Adam called home. The blond petted the animal's head once more before gently lifting the dark headed man off the creature's back. He moved the man over his shoulder so he could climb the tree to his home.

Avi groaned in pain as he was jostled around. The blond laid him down on his bed before looking him over. Touching the man's leg made his scream out. Avi's scream made Adam jump back in fright. There were cuts all over the man so Adam went to fetch the right berries and foliage to make a paste to clean the wounds and keep them from getting infected. Avi still hadn't woken by the time Adam returned. The blond doctored all the cuts and scrapes with the red paste he'd created before chancing to look at the man's leg again.
