The Confusing Love

The pair stayed up until the sun began to rise just getting to know one another even more. The more Avi learned about the tall Texan, the more he liked and felt connect to him. 'Could he be my true love?' he thought to himself as Tim was on the phone ordering room service. Tim finally hung up the phone and told him breakfast would be up in about half an hour. The taller man suggested they get a shower in the meantime but Avi shook his head.

"If we shower together, it'll take us longer than thirty minutes!" Avi laughed making Tim's face and ears flush.

"I'll be right back then. I won't be long." Tim slid out of bed.

As soon as Tim was in the bathroom and Avi could hear the shower running, he grabbed his phone to start texting his manager. He needed the next few weeks off. For once, he wasn't going to give in to his manager! He wanted to spend every waking moment he could with Tim and the only way that would happen is if he was on the road with him. His manager was angry he wanted to take two weeks off and even more so when he finally got Avi to reveal why. They fought almost until Tim emerged from the bathroom.

His manager finally huffed and stated he'd reschedule the dates so he could take his time off. Avi thanked him then quickly hung up. The sound of Tim singing in the shower made him smile. 'He's an amazing singer as well, it seems.' Avi giggled as he listened. Finally, the taller man exited the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. The smaller man let his eyes wander Tim's body unashamedly making Tim blush once more. The tall Texan wasn't used to this intense gaze of another human. There was such desire and passion in Avi's gaze.

Sure, he had lots of women staring longingly at him. None of them ever seemed to look at him the way Avi was right then. It made his heart skip a few times as he sat at the end of the bed to dry his hair with the towel in his hand. Avi sat there and watched as Tim dried his hair, and a few rogue water droplets streaking down Tim's muscular back. As Tim finished toweling his hair, there came a knock at the door. He insisted he could get it then walked over, slipping on the hotel robe after grabbing his wallet.

Once he'd paid for their breakfast, he quickly shut thedoor not really wanting to be disturbed by anyone. He knew Austin, if anyone,would be questioning him but at that moment he didn't much care. Austin could be too inquisitive for his own good at times! The pair dug into their breakfast with Tim asking Avi more questions about himself.

It made Avi happy that Tim still seemed to want to know everything about him right down to his favoritesand least favorites. Tim had even asked if one day Avi would show him where he grew up and the places he loved going most. "I'd love to if you have the time off while I have the time off!" Avi had replied with a huge grin.

They made plans to go sight-seeing together since Tim would have another day in town before heading back out on the road with his band. Avi had already long forgotten about the potion he'd been suckered into buying at the voodoo shop. They took a plantation tour, a photography tour since Avi loved taking photographs and selfies, and even a short food tour. They had lunch at a traditional creole restaurant making Avi giggle at his lover. After lunch, they took a horse-drawn carriage through the French Quarter.

They opted to go check out a live jazz band later that evening after a nice dinner together. Avi was hoping for another ending like the previous night and Tim was just excited to have Avi's attention all to himself. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to either man. Just a nice night out enjoying the company, the music, and some drinks. They shared a few dances when the songs were slow making several people 'aww' at them.

The next day, Avi had his driver coordinate with Tim's driver so he could follow Tim's tour around. He had two weeks with his lover and he was going to spend every waking moment he possibly could with him! Tim moved onto Avi's bus while his lover was there making Austin and Chance look at one another. 'What the hell is going on with Tim? He's straight! Why is he acting like they're a couple?' Austin'sbrows pulled together as he watched Tim haul two bags to Avi's bus.
