Chance had spent a good deal of time researching this convention, the vendors, the artists, and everything that was supposed to be there. Some artists and game designers he was super excited to see. There were panels he was dying to get into. Others, he knew he'd pass on. There were lots of vendors he wanted to stop by and check out.

The one thing, however, he wanted more than anything was to find Adam. It was an impossible task. Thousands of people in one location. He didn't even know what Adam looked like. All he knew was he'd have to read the name tag on his shirt to find the one he was looking for. He sighed as he re-packed his bag. It was still months away but he was anxious.

It had been a very long time since he'd actually been this excited for a trip! His boss was more than happy to give him the time off. Chance had quickly thanked his boss making the older man shake his head and tell the green-eyed man he'd earned it. The hardest part would be waiting for the con to get there. He decided to fly in the day before so he'd be well-rested and so he could enjoy the entire day. He'd fly out the day after. Thankfully he didn't have to work on the weekends so he'd have a day and a half to rest before going back to work!

He had marked all his calendars, including on his phone, and even set reminders on his phone so he wouldn't forget. Chance knew he wouldn't since there was the chance he'd see Adam in the flesh. His next stream, he decided to make his own announcement. Adam had popped in shortly before he did, Chance caught him sneakily coming into the stream, making him smile.

"Hey guys! How's everyone tonight? Work was great. Traffic was a nightmare. A pretty bad wreck on the highway. I'm hoping everyone that was involved is ok. It looked like there were three cars involved. If you're religious, please pray for them.

On a happier note, I'll be going to the "Gamers United" con in Portland this year! I'll be wearing a name tag that says 'TheAdamChance' as well as my FFXIV character name of 'Abrielle Khai'. I'd love to meet some of you if you guys are there too! This is my first time going to this con so if you have suggestions on what to see, please send me a whisper!

I'm very excited for the con and can't wait to go. I think tonight I'm going to play some Sea of Thieves. See how my little pirate dude is doing. I see there's some new subscribers! Thank you all so very much! I see Alexis has gifted a few subs. Thank you, Alexis! You're always so generous and that's so nice to see! Let's see what sort of shenanigans we can get into tonight!" Chance laughed at the end.

Adam's breath hitched as he listened to Chance state that he, too, would be at the convention. He would get to seethat deep-voiced man in the flesh. Could he handle it? Did he really want this? What would happen if they did meet and he was let down? He knew all too well that what was on the other side of the computer screen could be so different than what was being portrayed. His heart began to beat faster at the possibilities.

What would happen if they met up? Months of talking to him via whisper through Twitch they had sort of become friends. Or more like acquaintances. They hadn't delved into anything too deep. He knew he had to whisper Chance about some of his suggestions for the con. Maybe drop a hint at meeting up. His stomach began tying itself up in knots at the prospect. They were acquaintances. He might even venture to say loose friends.

Nothing would come of anything even if they did run into one another at the con. Most likely Chance was straight and already taken. Guys like him usually were! Hearing Chance's laughter at his teammates made him smile. 'He's got a cute laugh!' the blond thought as he sat back in his chair with his hand down his pj bottoms. "Is Cerin going to be at the con too?" he suddenly heard Chance ask making him stop what he was doing at look at the chat.

Several people who followed them both had mentioned in Chance's chat that he'd announced he was going. Hearing Chance call out his name made his heart do back flips even if it was just his Twitch name.
