The Confusing Want

Tim was solely focused on Avi and nothing else. The whole universe revolved around Avi as far as Tim was concerned. Each time Avi touched him, even accidentally, it sent shocks up through his extremities and down his spine. It urged his flirting on and found himself more and more fantasizing about taking Avi as they sat there chatting. Adam watched his friend and bandmate carefully. Something was off.

"Tim's straight, right?" The blond asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Austin furrowed his brows.

"Then why is he letting another man rub his back?" Adam pointed out.

The rest of their group turned to look at where Tim was sitting with some strange man, albeit a damned good looking one, to see the stranger was indeed rubbing circles on Tim's back. Their friend didn't seem to mind at all, in fact it looked to Chance that he was leaning into it. Austin gasped when they watched Tim place his hand on the stranger's thigh. High up on his thigh. Way higher than what is necessary in a comforting gesture.

"Is...is he now...Tim couldn't be playing for the other team, could he?" Austin finally uttered.

"It looks as if he's being seduced by that guy." Chance explained.

"Maybe he's been alone too long and just needs some...uh...comforting." Rob tried to explain his friend's behavior away.

The rest of the band and all their crew knew Timwas straight. Seeing him like he was in that moment was very unnerving to hisfriends. The beatboxer watched as Tim leaned his head back and laughed, clearly whatever the other brunette had said was exceedingly funny to his friend, and how the stranger licked his lips as he stared at Tim's throat. 'I wonder why Tim's letting another man seduce him? Is he really that desperate for affection and attention? I know he took the divorce hard but this seems a . . . strange .. . reaction.' the blond sipped his drink.

Avi couldn't help but let his eyes wander over the deep-voiced man sitting next to him. He had become quite enthralled in the southern accent and didn't notice that the potion he'd bought earlier and hadset on the counter had gone missing. Everything had seemingly disappeared around them as they sat there chatting and getting to know one another and sharing stories of their childhoods & teenhoods. Avi knew he was falling for this strange southern man already.

Austin: hey, we're heading back to the hotel since it's getting late. You coming?

Tim looked at his phone reluctantly and sighed. He wanted to spend more time with Avi. The thought of being away from the green-eyed man physically pained him.

"What's wrong?"

"Oh. My friends are heading back to the hotel and want to know if I'm coming." Tim sighed.

Avi leaned over and whispered in Tim's ear, "Not yet you're not."

Tim was instantly hard at the double-entendre of Avi's words.

Tim: I'm gonna pay my portion of the bill then I'll be on my way. See you there.

"Feel like coming back to my room? We can continue our discussion there." Tim boldly asked as his face heated up.

Avi smirked at the underlying implications. They weren't fooling anyone. They both knew what they wanted and how this night was going to end. Avi paid for his tab while Tim was texting.

Austin: I think we're going to head to the bar there to play some pool. You going to join us?

Tim: No, I'm gonna head off to bed.

Austin's jaw stood askew. He couldn't believe that Tim was blowing them off like that. He kept his eye on the lobby after they arrived attheir hotel bar to see if Tim was actually coming back to the hotel or not. He didn't believe that his friend would lie to him but the bass man had spent half the night with the dark-haired stranger. His eyes bulged when he saw Tim and said stranger walking through the lobby arm-in-arm towards the elevators. As the pair stood there waiting, he watched as the stranger leaned over and began either nibbling on Tim's ear or whispering to him. Either way, the tall Texan seemed to be enjoying it.
