A/N: Once again, I'm doing something a bit different. This is more akin to "The Ten Commandments" and "The Mummy" franchise movies (ancient Egypt type settings) in dressing and things. Obviously a few things I'll be changing simply for this story. This will be a mini-series but it will be an Avam and a Tidam story (that'll make sense later :P)

And for once, Stephen is not going to be the bad guy. Cindy, as usual, will be (:P) but I'll be nice to Stephen this go-round, lol. Enjoy. LET ME REITERATE WHAT A WEIRD MOOD I WAS IN WHEN I WROTE THIS OVER A MONTH AGO!

Pharaoh Rupp was a fair ruler. He had a generous and kind spirit. He preferred to rule by fairness, respect, and love. He treated everyone kindly and as if they were his equal. He didn't show favoritism with his children, either. He wanted both his sons to have the same opportunities. If something should happen to his eldest son, the younger one would one day be Pharaoh in his stead.

His Queen, however, was the complete opposite. She was heartless, uncaring, and even cruel to those lower than her. She doted upon the first heir to the throne, her oldest son, and her daughter. Queen Cynthia believed in ruling by fear, by keeping the social classes as separate as possible, and that everyone should know their place. She talked down to her servants, she made everyone lower than her feel as if they were lower than her. The Queen was a despised woman.

The heir to the throne was a spoiled child. Anything he wanted, he got because he was the heir to the throne. Prince Christopher was more interested in being known than anything else. His military prowess was only because of his military advisor, Abraham Sword. Prince Chris was an arrogant, conceited young man. He believed people should fawn all over him simply because he was the Prince and would one day be Pharaoh. Although he wasn't as cruel to the servants and others as his mother was, he wasn't as good to them as his father.

Princess Tristin, the baby of the Pharaoh and Queen, was just as conceited as her eldest brother, even more spoiled, and just as cruel to the servants as her mother. Anything the Princess wanted, she got simply because she was the girl in the family. Princess Tristin was more interested in being considered the most beautiful girl in all the land and others fawning all over her than anything else. She was as uncaring and heartless as her mother, as well.

Prince Adam, the middle child, was more like his father than either of his siblings. He was kind, caring, and warm. He, too, believed in ruling by fairness, respect, and love. He believed everyone should be treated justly no matter their status in life. He treated the servants almost as if they were his equal almost. Unlike his siblings, he was much fairer in hair and skin. It made him unusual in the hot desert, made him exotic. People loved Prince Adam.

For Prince Adam's eighteenth birthday, just as had happened for every Prince or Princess before him, he was given choice of one person of either gender to pleasure him. It was believed that royalty should be well-versed in the ways of the bedroom before they were married off. His father picked out a slew of people he thought his middle child would like. Prince Adam was nervous, as he always was at court events.

Prince Christopher was off in battle trying to keep their southern border secure. Princess Tristin and the Queen were busy talking quietly amongst themselves. A few of the male servants were walking around with silver trays of food while musicians played.
