"I guess I should properly introduce myself, I'm Emily, Sam's fiance, even though most people already knew that." She spoke with a smile and letting out a small laugh before sticking her hand out for me to shake it, in which I did.

"I've heard alot about you, both from Jacob and Leah." I said, slightly awkward, since I didn't know if the mention of her cousin bothered her. "I'm Maddy, um, Jacob's friend." I said the last word unsure, becuase at this point I was. I didn't know what he told Sam or even what it meant, if it was going to change our friendship or not.

"Oh, well, it's nice to officially meet you, Jacob talks about you all the time. It's better having another girl around, I'm out number almost all the time." Emily smiled at me and we both shared a laughed.

It was odd to here that Jacob talked about me all the time, when lately I've felt like he hasn't wanted to be a part of my life. It didn't matter how hard I had been trying to get his attention. The nights that I cried myself to sleep, just knowing that he was with Bella, when she had chose to give him the light of day.

There then was a ding, and she walked into the kitchen. I couldn't help but let out a small breath, feeling that I was able to relax. Ever since I woke up, I felt like I have had this huge weight on my shoulders. I don't know where it came from or when it was going away, but it was nice to even have the few minutes to relax.

"Would you like to help?" Emily turned and asked me, still having a soft smile. "It might be boring just sitting there." I smiled and got up from spot.

"Sure, I'd love to." I said as I walked around the island to help her.

She got out a bowl and I got out a pan of out of the oven, and they were the largest muffins that I had ever saw. I then sat the pan on the counter on the counter, and then took a quick moment to figure out how to turn the oven off. We both then started to take them out of the pan and put them into the bowl, as they didn't seem as hot as you would think they would be. It felt nice to help her, giving me flashbacks to all the times I would help my grandma in the kitchen with her cooking and baking. It seemed over time that she didn't do as much, and I didn't help much when she did.

"You know, when I said I've heard alot about you, I wasn't lying. Jake never stops talking about you." Emily told me, I looked up at her before back to what I was doing. "It drives the other guys crazy." She spoke with a small chuckle

"Really?" I asked her, shocked that he actually didn't talk about Bella more, since they always seemed to be on esch others hips lately.

"Yeah, he just goes on and on about you, I find that it's so sweet. He really likes you, I don't know how you can't tell." She tells me, with a light smiled. I was about to say something when there was a sound that sounded like two howls, or some random noise that I hadn't heard before. "I think your the best thing that has ever happened to him. Bella just threw him out to the curb like he was trash." She whispered to me then two guys walked in.

At first I couldn't tell who it was at first, but when I took a double look it was Embry and Quil. But at the same time it wasn't the Embry and Quil that I knew, they had gotten taller and bigger than the last time I saw them, and that wasn't that long ago. It was like the same thing that had happened to Jacob had happened to them, which would explain why they were walking around with out a shirt and in shorts. Both baring the same tattoo on their shoulder as Jacob had as well.

"Well, well, well look who it is." Embry said with a smirk as he noticed me standing in the kitchen with Emily.

"Yeah, it little old Maddy." Quil said smile before he embraced me in a hug. Just as the same when I had hugged Jacob, he had a high body temperature, but it didn't seem to bother him.

When he finally let go of me, after almost taking the breath out of me, he gave me a smiled at me one more time before he went to grabbed a muffin. Emily saw and moved the bowl to the table were the two boys sat had sat down. Quil tried to take another and she smacked his hand and I laughed along side Jared.

"Quil you know the rules." She looked at him before turning to look at me with a smile. "Help yourself, there might not be much left soon." I smiled and let out a small laugh before going to grab one and sit down where I had once been sitting.
