"Come on, everyone is waiting for us." Jacob smiled at me as he then walked over to help me up from my spot. I smiled as I popped up in the air, letting out a small laugh as I did. He lightly smiled at me and rolled his eyes, as I fixed my shirt from where it went up in the back.

"Where we going?" I asked him, like I didn't hear what they had been talking about.

It didn't matter if I had heard him or not, I hear everything they were talking about. I knew exactly where we were going, but I didn't fully understand on why yet. I knew he had something to tell me, and I don't know why he couldn't just telle here. I also didn't really know who Emily was, and I never heard anything good from Leah. I knew Sam and Emily were engaged, it was all over the reservation. I had to help Leah with her heart break, but it didn't help, and I know her parents are really starting to worry. She was gone, she had just turned all her emotions off, and I had lost my other best friend.

"A friends, but don't worry most of everyone there you already know." He told me, giving off a soft smile, then handing me my bag off my desk.

We walked in silence after that, and it was kinda nice. There were a million things that I could ask him, of things we could talk about, but it was just quite. I wouldn't know where to start to even begin a new conversation, so it was just better for the two of us to remain quiet. When the short walk outside, seemed to take ages, my boots were crunching under the gravel, until they came to a hult. I stopped and just stared at Jacob's bike, feeling chills go down my spine and a sick feeling in my stomach.

"I know you don't like it, but it's not that far of a ride." I sighed before staring at for a moment. There was no need to fight or argue, and he honestly didn't look like he had the strength, so I got on, putting my bag in the middle of us. "Hold on as tight as you want, you won't hurt me, I promise." He told me as he started the bike, I could hear the smirk

I held onto his torso as tight as I could, feeling like that was the only way I wasn't going to fall off, not even seconds later, he took off. It was a short ride, just like he had said, and strangely there was a small part of me that didn't want it to end. I was scared of crashing, like I always have been, but I felt safe with Jacob, with my arms around him. I wanted to spend more time with him, because in the past month, I feel like I haven't seen him at all. Once he shut the bike, I knew i could stay there, so without fighting myself, i climbed off and pulled my bag over my shoulder. Jacob took his turn on climbing off before turning to look at me with a small smile.

"So where are we exactly, other than just a friends?" I asked, looking at him, creating a conversation before me could make a comment about the ride.

"Sam's fiancé's." He told me then took my hand and intertwined our fingers together, something he has never done before. I remember the times I would do it, and then swing our arms back and forth, just because it was funtn

"Emily's?" I questioned, just to like I was still clueless, he smiled and nodded his head.

"Yeah, Emily's, and I know that Leah has said alot about her, but don't let her words effect your view on her, since you haven't met her personally yet." Jacob stated and I gave him a small nod of my head before we started to walk to the house, but Jacob stopped before getting up to the porch. I looked at him confused, and he looked down at me. "Don't stare at her, it bugs Sam." He whispers to me before we walked in, I mean just walked in, no knocking or anything.

I was confused when he stopped me to let me not to stare at her. I'm not a person to stare to begin with, and he knew that. Why would I stare? I've seen Emily around before, she was really pretty. I know that I haven't seen her in a long time, ever since Sam had broken up with Leah, but how much can one person change. I mean, Jacob jad changed alot in a short amount of time, but that's what guys do, it's part of growing up.

"Hey Jake." A women said, and I knew that it had to be Emily, or at least I was guessing that it was her. She turned and looked at us, and then what's when I saw it. She had three claw marks across her face. Once I saw her face, I knew for sure that it was Emily, she just looked different.

"Where's Sam?" Jacob asked her, clearly being use to the scar that was acrossed her face.

"He's out back." She told him and he nodded his head. Jacob let go of my hand before lightly laying it on the small of my back. "Stay her with Emily, I'llbe right back." He said softly before leaving the house once again.

"Where else am I suppose to go?" I asked under my breath, but Emily had clearly heard me, becuase she had let out a small laugh. I smiled and looked at her, finding she wasn't anything like Leah had said, and Jacob was right not to go off her option.

"I wouldn't go far, if you did wounder off, you might get lost in the woods." She smiled and we both laughed. "Come sit at the table, I promise, I don't bite."

We both shared a smile before I moved from my spot and took a seat at the table. It wasn't long after that before she had returned to what she had been doing before we had showed up, I sat and watched as she moved around the kitchen, cooking. It house already smelled amazing when we walked in, and the smell was only getting stronger. It was still odd to me that Jacob hadn't knocked when we got here, and just chose to walk in. I mean I use to do that at Jacob's, so what's the difference.
