Chapter 32

I sat curled up in the corner of Jacob's couch. I have been staying for almost a week. It has just been Jacob and me. Weather had keep Billy from coming back.

I have barely slept. I have barely ate. I rarely talked. I know I was hurting Jacob, I felt so bad for it to. He tried over and over get me to eat something and I would jsut stare at the plate as if it wasn't there. I would stay up all night, but when I would fall asleep I would wake up not much longer screaming. I just wanted to run, and never look back. But I couldn't, I couldn't leave Jacob. I ran my hand through my hair, quietly crying.

I slowly got up, my body was weak. Weak from hunger. Weak from the lack of sleep. I slowly stared to walk to Jacob's room, leaning on the wall to help me walk.

Jacob went to get my things from my house and moved me into a spare room they had. It felt wrong talking his sister's room, but Billy told me that it was okay. He didn't have a use for them since the girls said they might not come back. The had it the hardest when their mom past.

"Jake." I said quietly as I leaned in his doorway.

He quickly turned around from looking out the window. He walked over to me. Then all of a sudden, my vision started to bury and I grabbed onto him quickly as my legs started to give out on me.

"Maddy?" He voice was scared. "Maddy what's wrong?" My head hurt so much, but then it was all dark.

I heard beeping, my head didn't hurt as much as it did. I didn't feel as weak as I did. But, I still did feel week.

"Bella." I heard Jacob say his voice was tried, he let out a sigh. "You had her for three days. I worried about her for three days! If you had called, her mom would still be alive! Her grandmother would still be alive! Two people died!" He yelled the last part then I heard a crash, like he had punched the wall. "Now she might never wake up!" He yelled.

"Jake you need to calm down." Bella's vocie was scared.

"Calm down? Calm down?" His tone was full of rage and hurt. "The love of my life is being keep alive by machines and you want me to calm down!" He yelled and I heard another crash before a door opening then closing. Then the sound of something being through and a crash.

"You need to be put on a leash." I had never heard that vocie before, but I was a male.

"Edward, no need for the dog jokes." Bella said, so this was the famous bloodsucker.

"You get the hell out!" Jacob voice was stern.

I then felt pain go through my body and gasped out in pain without thinking. I wanted to move, but something stopped me from doing so.

"Maddy!" I heard Jacob gasp then I heard movement and I could feel his body heat next to me. I opened my eyes, but saw nothing.

"I-I can't see. W-Why can't I see?" I was freaking out, I tried to move my arms more to sit up. But I couldn't move.

"Maddy, it's okay, calm down." Jacob's vocie calmed me down. I then left things around my wrist loosen, then I began to sit up.

"Jacob why can't I see?" I cried out and I felt his hand rest on my leg.

"The doc said you'll get your vision back, it just takes a few days." I nodded my head letting out a small cry. "You two get the hell out, and Bella don't even call me again." I heard the door open and close again.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I should have slept. I should had ate. I should have listened to you. Jacob I'm sorry." I cried after a long thing of silence.

"It's okay, everything okay now. You're awake now, everythings going to be okay." He said and grabbed my hand.

"How long was I out?" I asked and he said noting, so I asked again. "Jacob, how long was asleep?"

"Over a mouth."
