PART 1: Prologue

Let me take you way back, to the beginning, to the late 1980's, and early 1990's, something new was introduced to the market: Video Games. They were widespread with everyone scrambling to get their hands on one of those beautiful entertainment devices, and they still are to this day. For most of the lifespan of video games, one company has sat on the top: Nintendo. Over many years, they've managed to become one of the biggest and most successful companies out there, and one day, something beautiful was invented: the Nintendo 64, one of the first few devices to revolutionize 3-D rendered graphics. And with it, came another glorious creation: Super Smash Brothers, a game where all of Nintendo's characters mercilessly beat the tar out of each other. The game did so well that they went on to make three more SSB games. And now, with the arrival of the latest entertainment device created by Nintendo, the Nintendo Switch, comes the next in line of the Super Smash Brothers series: Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, which includes everyone from the previous Smash games as well as a few new faces, including the star of our story: Isabelle from a game called Animal Crossing.
