I'm never going to let go EVER again. I refuse to leave my best friend. "Okay, Isabelle, we gotta train you for the tournament now. I don't want you getting your ass handed to you by some random pimp." Said the Mayor. Me and the Mayor go WAAAY back, like five or so years back. The Mayor was scheduled to arrive on a train, and he stepped out. The first thing he saw was my face, beaming excitement for finally meeting the first Mayor of Village Town. Yeah, our founder couldn't name worth a darn. Me and the townsfolk were all waiting there for a solid hour in anticipation. I gave the new Mayor a massive welcoming smile. "Welcome, mr. Mayor!" We all said in synchronization. He was startled, and jumped a little bit. "Umm, I think there's been some mistake? I'm just moving here from Harwood Town." He said. "Nonsense! I'm sure you're our new mayor! He's scheduled to arrive by train right about now! Anyways, My name is Isabelle! I'll be your personal secretary!" I introduced. And these are your townsfolk!" I said, gesturing to the villagers. "This is Bob, Apollo, Diana and Merengue." I said, pointing to the respective people. "Um... Okay?" Said the Mayor. "It's great to meet you all!" He continued. We all cheered and I took out a party popper. "To the new Mayor!" I cried, and pulled the small string. BANG! Confetti flew everywhere. Here, key me show you to your temporary home while I set things up at the Town Hall!" I said, wasting no time in taking him by the hand and leading him to a temporary Tent. "Here's a lamp to put in there!" I said and handed him an electric lamp. "Get some rest, talk with the townspeople and just hang out for today! We can get you settled in a new home tomorrow." I said. I left for the Town Hall to finish putting together that darned desk I'd bought from the furniture store for the new Mayor. I had no idea he'd be so young, but I won't question it!
"HEY! Isabelle!" Shouted the Mayor. "Are we going to actually train, or are you just going to stand there? C'mon! Let's go have some fun with it!" He said now from the inside of the room. "Oh, yeah! Coming!" I said. I entered the room and closed the door behind me.
