I woke up, head pounding like someone had been stabbing it.
"Don't worry, my child. All is fine. I'm just seeing how powerful you really are~." My mouth moved but I knew it wasn't me.
"Apate! Wha-?" I asked, confused, struggling to move anything. My finger twitched.
"You're so adorably dumb. I'm the goddess of deception and tricks. You should've paid attention in class." My face smirked and I internally cringed.
"Get out of my body!" I jerked around in this black abyss of a body, trying to do something. Her head twitched in response.
"Stop that, brat! I'm using an elixir that's not mine to get your blood. Just five more hours to go and your blood is mine." My-her mouth stretched wide as I-she started walking.
"No!" I jerked around some more, trying to do something involving my powers. I envisioned thorns wrapping themselves around her. To my surprise, it happened.
"Ugh!" She hissed, flinching in pain as her ichor ran down my body. Cool. I could hurt her and nothing would happen to me-
"Chill, brat!" She growled and I felt something tie around me. I was stuck in my own body and I couldn't do anything about it.
"Let me go! You won't get away!" I snapped, trying to get free with no avail.
"Oh, sweetie," She poured with pity. "I just did."
~~~~~Four Hours Later, Rain's POV~~~~~
Forest was acting off. She had this dumb smirk on her face, even though she hates people that do *cough, cough* Hermes.
"She's fine, Athena. You worry too much." Volant said, shaking his head as Forest sharpened a knife.
"Unlike you, I know my best friend. And she normally doesn't act like this." I gestured at Forest, who was currently muttering to herself and twirling the knife in between her fingers.
"Well....her aura does seem off. Like something or someone...is manipulating it." He sighed, reluctantly agreeing.
"Exactly. I'll ask." I smiled triumphantly, walking up to Forest.
"Hey, girl. What's up." I sat by her.
"The universe coming to an end slowly." She said. But her voice wasn't hers. It sounded really familiar, but it wasn't hers.
"You sound sick." I told her, looking in her eyes. Were they always this violet?
"No. I am not sick. I am fine." She said, speech choppy as her hand twitched. Forest hit the couch with her hand then glared at it.
"Who are you?" I asked instinctively.
"Ap-I mean Forest." She responded.
"Ap?"
"Shut up." She snapped. I pulled out my sword, knowing someone was messing with Forest.
"Tell me or I'll hurt you!" I threatened.
"You wouldn't hurt your best friend." Whoever the heck it was said, smirking. I scratched her jaw.
"You're not my best friend." I said coolly as ichor leaked from the wound. Her eyes rolled back and black smoke blew from her mouth and nose. Her body shivered and a goddess appeared before me.
"Apate." I hissed.
"Yes indeed. And you're not going to stop me from getting her blood. I will destroy everything in ten minutes."
