"But I just have to be honest, I can't wait anymore."
Kenzie's POV
Johnny dropped me off to the private jet and we said goodbye for the week. After a long flight I arrived at the airport lot. My mom and dad were waiting in front of my by the limo, yes, my dad has this thing with driving the limo, don't ask. At first my mom and I just stared at each other from across the airport, but then she came running up to me.
Mel: Aw we missed you baby.
Lucas: The whole family is back together again.
K: I love you guys.
*House
L: I hope you're hungry, your Mom spent the entire day preparing dinner for you.
K: Aw thanks, I'm starving, but Mom you know you could have ordered a pizza and I would have been happy, you didn't have to do all this.
M: It was no problem, as if I'm going to let my baby eat pizza on her thanksgiving break back with the family.
K: Well thanks.
*Eating
K: This is amazing.
L: It better be after all the work she put into it.
M: Oh Kenzie, I missed you so much. Wouldn't you just rather go to school here?
L: Melissa!
K: I love you Mom, and I missed you to, but I actually really like this school, I've made a lot of friends and I feel super comfortable here.
L: See?
M: Oh hush Lucas.
L: *Eye roll* So did you make any friends?
K: Yeah quite a few, there's this girl called Lauren, we met on the first day, she was super nice, she's a great friend. A few others too, Annie, Carson, Nadia, Emily, Hayden, Johnny.
M: Any special boys?
L: Boys?
K: Relax Dad, I'm way to focused on school and my scholarship to have any time to worry about boys. So no, Mom, no boys...
M: Hm.
K: Anyway, how's work dad?
L: Great, in the process of making some huge deals with multiple companies.
K: So a success, as always.
L: We actually have one tomor... *Ring Ring* Sorry ladies, I have to take this.
*Lucas Leaves the room
K: So how are things mom?
M: Tell me everything about him.
K: I have no idea what you're talking about.
M: Puh-lease, I wasn't born yesterday.
K: Ugh jeez, fine. There is someone.
M: I knew it, aaaannnddd?
K: We're not like together or anything, but there is something between us, you can't deny. He isn't the type for relationships.
M: Funny, I knew someone a lot like that.
K: Dad?
M: You know what he said at the beginning, "I don't do dates."
K: Yikes, Dad?
M: Yep, he was what you would call a total womanizer. And now we've been married for over seventeen years.
