As a whole I'm definitely here for the increase in sex positivity. I feel it is something that needed to be brought to the forefront. For as long as I can remember I always felt like sex was only something a man should enjoy. I thought it was just something to help you 'keep your man' it wasn't until I started to discover the acts of sexual pleasures did I realize this is a false narrative.
I was exposed to the topics of sex at a very young age. My first album my mom got me was Pretty Ricky's 'Bluestars'. Granted she never knew who they were because this was their very first ALBUM. I live in Alabama soo.. You could guess how she reacted when I asked her to play it in the car. 😭 nonetheless she let me keep it and listen to it under the impression that I had no clue what they were singing about. And I didn't.
That goes to say that my feelings on sex are highly positive as long as everyone is doing their part in order to insure safety."(condoms, proper sex education, etc.)
