"I'm heading out, Mr Stark." Peter sighed, wringing his mask in his hands tightly. He stood from his chair in the lab and walked towards the exit.
Tony looked away from Bruce's experiment for just a moment. "Get home safe, Kid. Also, stop off at the grocery store and get something for dinner. You haven't eaten all night and May is probably already asleep." He said calmly as he checked his watch to see it was already past midnight.
"I ate before my night patrols." Peter protested as he slid his mask on.
"And that was over eight hours ago." He quipped, raising an eyebrow.
"Alright, fine. I'll see you tomorrow morning." The teenager strolled out of the door and left the building quickly, feeing physically and mentally exhausted from the late night experiments and many trials of serums that could bring back Alice.
None of them worked.
"If that boy comes to me tomorrow having not eaten or gotten at least seven hours of sleep, I'm gonna lose it." Tony mumbled before going back to the table with chemicals and trials waiting to be tested.
Peter swung through the streets of New York, stopping low level crimes he saw along the way - pickpockets and such.
As quietly as he could, Peter snuck in through his bedroom window as to not wake up his aunt and hoped none of his neighbours had caught sight of the famous red and blue suit. The events of the day had taken such a toll that he flopped onto his bed and passed out still in his suit.
Across the city, Bruce wrote down the measurements before looking up to his friend.
"I'm going to go ask Bucky for another vile of his blood and hopefully break down the chemical composition and figure out what is holding us back." He sighed deeply as he put his glasses on the table and left the lab.
Tony didn't respond, he simply walked through the lab and into the room that held the cryochamber Alice laid in.
He adjusted the temperature slightly, taking not of the numbers displayed on the screen.
"I don't think you realised how much of a headache you've caused me, Blue." He mumbled before looking up at the closed eyes of the fallen hero. "I mean, you couldn't have just reappeared like all the others. You had to make an entrance." He chuckled dryly to himself.
"Just give me something, anything. Make a fist, wiggle your toes. I personally don't think it's too much to ask. Something. Small so we know we're in the right direction." He mumbled, tracing a pattern of ice that was imprinted in the glass case. "God, all I can think of is you walking into the compound, heading off with Parker on patrols." He sighed deeply.
"I know you came looking for me. Not long after we got back, I found your hideout. You had stolen files and a lot of stuff on me. If you could just wake up, then we can talk about it." Tony walked away from the chamber, shutting of the room light to leave the room illuminated by the blue spotlight above the girl's head.
There's always tomorrow.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it!
I think I'm going to stick with my sign off lines, if that's what you can call them, idk.
I know this is another short chapter and I'm sorry but I promise they'll be longer from this point forward I just wanted to give you a little more information on their current situation.
How'd you like the new layout up top? Good? Bad? Go back to the original, I can't decide.
