It was 7:00pm. Nagpasyal kasi ako sa mall at bumili ng gamit kaya nagabihan ako.
When I reached the hotel, nagkasalubong kami ni Quen. I was about to say hi but I remembered what happened awhile ago with Direk Wenn.
Chinapa ko siya noh, akala niya kung sino siya para pansinin ko. Pasalamat ka, hindi kita nasampal tapos ng halik natin. HAHAHAHA! Siya pa ang sasampalin na ako ang may gawa. Ok, enough talk about the 'kiss'. XP
When I walked passed him, I looked back and felt a bit down knowing that hindi rin niya ako pinansin :(
Dumaan ako sa isang maliit na bar sa hotel, hindi siya yung tipo na may nagsasayawan. 20 years old na ako. Legal. I sat on a stool and ordered,"Uhm, can I get a shot of Hairy Navel?"
After a couple of minutes, the bartender gave me a small glass of the cocktail. This is my cousin's favorite cocktail, vodka mixed with peach schnapps and orange juice. This is it! My first taste of alcohol. I drank it quickly and banged the glass down as I finished it. My body quickly warmed up. It tastes good. I ordered another one and drank it until the glass was empty. I ordered another one, then another one. 4 shots. I ordered two more and I stoop up. I was starting to get dizzy. I didn't think that 6 shots would make me drunk. Well, not really drunk, but somehow tipsy.
Dang, I shouldn't have worn these stupid high heels. I made my way to the elevator and pressed the number 7. I wanted to go to Dj's room. But why? Somehow I don't know what i'm doing. As I reached there, I opened his door but it was locked. Where is he? Ah, tama pala, he's busy. My head is spinning and my vision is starting to get blurry.. I looked around and saw Quen's room. I knocked on the door and it opened. Ah, he's here!
Quen's POV
I opened the door and saw Kath.
"Kath? Ano ginagawa mo dito? Si Daniel?"
"Hehehe... Hi Quen! Tumabi ka nga, papasok ako."
Tumabi ako at dali dali siyang pumasok at umupo sa kama. Is she drunk? Nilapit ng konte ang mukha ko sa kanya at naamoy ang alchohol.
"Uminom ka ba ng marami?" I asked.
"Ha? Hindi naman ah. Mga 6 shots of Hairy Navel lang naman."
"Medyo marami-rami na yan ah. Bat ka ba uminom? Akala ko ayaw mo?"
"Ewan. Ang sarap eh. I couldn't help myself."She laughed.
Itong babaeng to. Tumatawa tawa pa.
"Quen, umupo ka nga dito sa tabi ko!" she tapped the spot next to her.
"Alam mo, ihahatid na kita sa kwarto ni ate Maylene. Baka matulungan ka niya." Hinila ko siya pero ayaw niyang sumama.
"Wag kang pipilit kung ayaw ko!! Umupo ka nalang kasi dito sa tabi ko!" She started to cry.
Para hihinto siya, I decided to just sit next to her. She leaned her head on my shoulder and intertwined her hands with mine. Silence filled the entire room, you can hear a pin drop. After a couple minutes her grip loosens. I looked at her and found out that she was asleep. What should I do? Pinahiga ko siya sa aking kama. Ang cute talaga niya tingnan habang natutulog. I stared at her and I wanted to kiss her. But instead, I just ran my thumb across her cheek and touched her lips.
I called Daniel to ask where he was.
"Dj, san ka? Are you at the hotel?"
"Pare may meeting pa ako. Mga 9 pa ako makakauwi."
"Äh, ganun ba. Ok sige, bye"I hanged up and walked across the room. Hindi pwede dito matutulog si Kath. Pano kapag gumising siya? Ano iisipin niya?
I planned to carry her to ate Maylene's room. I lifted her carefully and walked out of my room. Good thing there were no people who walked passed us. Ate's room was only at the 6th floor, so I didn't have any difficulty carry Kath there. Reaching her room, I knocked using my foot. The door didn't open. I knocked again but still no response. Ano ba naman to?! I walked in a hurry back to my room. Pinahiga ko ulit siya sa kama at tinawagan si Ate Maylene.
"Ate May, saan po ba kayo?" Please be here in the hotel.
"Sinasamahan ko si Daniel sa meeting Quen." she replied.
NO!!!!
"Ah sige sige. Bye po." binaba ko ang phone. I was starting to get worried.
Wait, ihatid ko nalang kaya si Kath sa room niya. Bakit hindi ko yun naisip. But, I can't just rummage through it. I respect Kath's privacy. Let's see if I can wake her up.
"Kath, kath gising!" I shouted.
"Hmm?" Yes gumising siya!
"Kath, ihahatid na kita sa kwarto mo. Saan ang card?"
"Wag na. Dito na ako matutulog." She closed her eyes again and hugged the pillow tightly.
"Kath! Kath!" At hindi na siya nagising. Bahala na, bukas ng umaga ko nalang siya gigisingin ulit.
I can't sleep beside her, so I slept on the floor on the side of the bed where she was sleeping.
