Lovesick, a new romance serie that I will star in. I was so excited because it's also my first show with Daniel. The day after our meeting regarding the show, Daniel confessed about his feelings for me,"I like you" I was speechles. But without thinking, I returned his feelings, "I like you too."
After that, we became a couple, but secretly. I didn't want to tell anyone because they might suspect that the real reason I broke up with Quen is Daniel.
Finally, after 2 weeks, the actor who will play as Richard was cast. Daniel and I were on our way to meet him together with Director Wenn Deramas.
As we arrive at our meeting place, I saw Director Wenn stand at the entrance of the building.
"There you are. He's waiting to meet the two of you. Come, follow me."
Wenn directed us to the dressing room. "Kath and Daniel, meet your co-actor."
I was so excited but as I saw his face, chills went down my spine. Enrique, he will be playing as Richard. Out of all people, why does it have to be him?! My ex boyfriend, my boyfriend and I. Great, this should be awkward.
"Ok, now that the three of you know the roles that each will play, we will start shooting in a week. The first twenty episodes of Lovesick will be shot in Korea. Better start making preparations. I'll call you three back in a few days. You may leave, bye." Director Wenn said.
I can feel that Quen was avoiding me. Everytime I would look at him and have eye-contact, he would always look away. I wanted to talk to him, tell him that we should still be friends.
"Want me to drive you home?" Daniel asked.
"No. I'll take a taxi, I have something to take care of." I replied.
As soon as Daniel left, I went around to look for Quen. I found him at the balcony. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes.
"Hey" I said as I was standing beside him.
I heard no reply. "Quen, talk to me."
Still no reply
"Quen..." I held his shoulders, turning him to face me. "Talk to me"
"How could you? Why are you being like this?" He replied.
"Being what?" I asked
"Do you think that I could get over that easily from what happened to us in 3-4 days? What, so after what happened I would just talk and say, "Hey Kath, talk to me and act like it doesn't really matter. Do you think it's that easy to just get over it in a day? Your messge to me in your interview, do you think that I could say that to you with a sweet smile?" He said angrily.
"I can. Relax, why are you being so mad?" i was starting to get annoyed by him. Man, I regretted having this conversation.
"See, that's my problem. Your being so insensitive! What the hell happened to you?! Your not the Kathryn I used to know. You've changed!" He shouted at me.
"What about it?! You are not my brother, you are not my father, most of all, your not my boyfriend. So don't go telling me things tht you think I should be doing!" I shouted back. I was so angry that I wanted to slap him hard in the face.
Without saying more, I walked out and rode a taxi home.
