sasaeng fan

jennie woke up this morning with a smile on her face, even though she knew she had a full day of schedules. but that was her favourite part. she wanted to meet all the army in the universe.

she didn't think that today was going to be any different. so she got ready, met the members downstairs to have breakfast and left the house for a hectic day.

being an idol was never easy, but she picked this lifestyle so she held on any hardships that went her way. even if it meant her getting sasaeng fans.

she has always noticed this guy. he always wore a black hat and black jacket. he was too easy to notice. especially with the huge dslr camera that he carries around. what made him any different from any other fansite was that he had every single jennie merch on him.

and they were colourful. and that made him easier to recognise in the crowd.

at first, when jennie started recognising him, she waves at him and the camera and makes small talk sometimes like 'film me well' or 'take my good side' as jokes but it has taken to far when she sees him everywhere she goes. even when other fansites aren't there.

he stood out like a sore thumb. but what freaked jennie out more was that she's start seeing him in different countries too. even in the same plane.

but she brushed it off thinking that he wouldn't hurt her. but she still didn't want to act stupid and naive so she told hoseok and described him to hoseok, just incase anything goes wrong.

the morning after seems normal till she got a call from her members to meet them at the studio. it was a normal call till she heard a little 'beep' at the end of the phone call.

she wasn't stupid. jennie is an idol, she has to have knowledge, even of the little things.

that beep meant that someone was listening to the conversation on the phone and had 'tapped' jennie's phone. (google it, it's a real thing.)

once she heard the sound, she slid her phone into her pocket making sure that the camera was closed just incase her entire phone was hacked. she turned off any location apps incase she was tracked down.

for a second, jennie felt unsafe but she knew it was going to end soon.

she left her room and met her members. when she sees an opportunity to speak to hoseok, she pulls him aside to talk about her phone. she had now turned off her phone, knowing that she could use her member's phone if it was an emergency.

hoseok was shocked to say the least. bu the both of them caught the culprit pretty quickly. there was only one person who'd do this.

the week went by. everyone was given the week off to stay inside the dorm. hoseok got jennie a new phone, making sure it had extra security.

her old phone was still turned off but they didn't throw it away just incase the sasaeng gets suspicious and tries to find out about her other phone.

hoseok has been on the edge, always making sure that jennie's safe. he even basically moved into her room.

but the week didn't last long, they had to go back to work the next day. they had to travel all over to hongkong for MAMA. and both of them knew who was going to be there.

jennie couldn't act weird. she had to act as if nothing happened. they needed proof that it was that guy who did this. yes, don't worry, they had already told bang pd-nim everything.

morning came and they had to wake up before dawn and travel to the airport which was hours away before taking a four hour flight to hong kong.

everyone woke up feeling groggy. they were too tired to even greet each other. but that didn't stop hoseok from giving jennie a peck on her forehead before the left their bed.

a couple hours later, they reached the airport and guess who's there. the sasaeng fan. but jennie was quick witted. she acted normal.

she pulled her mask down her face and smiled at the huge camera that he was holding on to. she gave a small wave and turn to the guy who's filming her and she said 'nice to see you again.'

this way, it seemed as if nothing happened.

she made sure other fansites were recording just incase anything happens. she walked beside hoseok, therefore, his fansite was hot on his tails.

then it happened.

her fansite says, 'jennie-ah, what happened to your phone. i hadn't heard from you from a while.'

bingo.

before you say 'he might mean that you hadn't updated twitter or instagram' but no, she updated her sns every single day, leaving her one more choice of why he could ask that.

jennie looks at hoseok, before smiling brightly. this meant that hoseok had to talk to his fansite for that footage so that he could send it to bang pd-nim.

she turns to her fansite before frowning and saying, 'what do you mean, i updated all of my social media this week.'

her fansite visibly froze. it only took him a second to realise that someone was filming him and he acted like nothing happened. he looks at jennie before saying 'ah really? ouh i might've missed it'

bullshit. she saw his account liking her updates every single day.

hoseok walks beside jennie and smiled at her. that was a sign that it was now all taken care of.

they were infront of the gate and jennie turns one last time to her fansite and says 'well, see you at hongkong soon. we'll be in the same plane, right?'

jennie was sly and she knew it.
