one and a half months before boy with love comeback

jennie's pov ;

bang pd asked all the members and I to gather in the meeting room at bighit. I know that there is an overdue comeback and army is waiting for us to cone out with a new song. 

though I wasn't sure that this meeting was because of our comeback. I had a hunch that bad news was awaiting us. or worst of all, me.

we all sat down on the chairs, talking to each other. I couldn't seem to push away that bad feeling off my chest. 

I tried calming myself down before getting on a panic attack for no reason.

at least no one saw me in that uncomfortable state. 

bang pd walks in the room and sits at the chair where the members and I could see him properly. 

'we have good news, and a sorta bad one, depending on how you would interpret it.' he says as soon as he sits down.

everyone breathes out a sigh of relief. including me. namjoon replies him with 'lets hear the good news first.'

we all agreed. 

bang pd exhales and starts 'you should all be starting with your comeback song by now. halsey contacted us for a collaboration. I think that would be an amazing opportunity.' everyone roars with cheers, talking amongst themselves about how amazing this comeback would be.

'see. so far so good, jennie. there's nothing to be worried about.' I told myself.

my thoughts were soon debunked as bang pd continues. 'but the bad news is that as there is halsey singing in the song, I felt that it was best to only have her singing and jennie to be on a short hiatus till the promotion ends.' he ends that sentence.

wait what? I'm forced to take a hiatus because he felt like halsey should be the only girl in that song? 

the boys glanced at me. only for a short second until they reply with 'that should be fine, she probably would enjoy the hiatus anyways.'

what the hell? what's with people making decisions for me now.

bang pd stands and walks out the room. I play with my fingers. all the boys start to get up and walk out. 

did they not care about me anymore?
