forgotten

today is a little weird.
it seemed that the boys had something planned.
without including jennie.
jennie didn't work herself thinking about it, she thought they just wanted a boys night so she let them go without asking.
but it became more frequent.
she noticed.
she noticed that the boys became more distant from her. not including her in the simplest things such as a conversation. it hurt her, she admits. but she didn't want to make such a big fuss about it. so, again, she let them be.
the boys met a girl during the weekends. they thought she was super sweet and wanted to meet up with her often. they did remember about jennie.
'hyung, shouldn't we invite jennie?' the maknae ask.
weirdly, he was ignored so he didn't push the question. he thought maybe she was busy and the boys knew not to disturb her.
but that wasn't the case.
jennie on the other hand was losing hope every single day. she waited everyday for someone, just one to talk to her. but she was blatantly ignored all the time.

it has been 2 months. she was ignored by all of them. she didn't understand what she had done wrong. but as per usual, she didn't try to talk to the boys, she was too afraid. she saw it all, the boys invited that girl into the dorm, still not giving jennie second glances. it hurt her, a lot. but she wanted to be strong.

another month has past. today, there is a fan sign event. she sat at the very end, being secluded from all the fun that's happening. jennie has been feeling sick lately, she couldn't tell why. maybe it's just because she hasn't been eating right but has been pushing herself to work harder. in the past month, she has caught up with all of the dances, perfecting all of them. she even had a solo song coming. she knew that it felt wrong not having the boys doing all thee work with her but at least she still sees them everyday.

a fan comes to her as she was done with the rest. " unnie, are you okay? you seem a little sick." she says, voice full of concern. all she could mutter was a little "i'm fine" and proceeded with the signing.

all she could feel was excruciating pain in her head. she knows she hasn't been doing healthy things lately, but she couldn't help it, she was too busy preparing her solo debut which was coming in a few months. she wanted army to be proud of her. she couldn't bare to leave them disappointed.

after a few days, her condition worsened. she knew, but she couldn't stop herself. she had to sleep late or not sleep at all because she was too occupied with her preparation. in the midst of all this, the boys still hasn't realized what's going on with jennie. they did notice her, but they didn't want to disrupt her, it just seems like she was busy. the only on who realized what's going on is yoongi, he knew. he knew that she was going to have her solo debut soon and not getting enough sleep or eating at all. and to say he was worried is an understatement. he was scared shitless. he didn't know how to tell the boys. eventually, he moved on his worries about jennie has been long forgotten.

jennie worked her butt off. she practiced all day. she wanted it to be perfect, that's all. she knew the boys were still not talking to her. but she wanted to focus and do well before finally confronting them, that's if she's ever going to.

jennie. that's all that goes through yoongi's head now. he remembered. he remembered why he was so worried in the first place. this time he vowed to do something about it. and he prays that jennie is doing fine.

he did it, he confronted the boys. he couldn't help it, he was just worried for her. she's now always on her phone or in her studio doing something. she often leaves the house unnoticed, probably headed to the dance studio to practice. he knew she was a perfectionist, but he didn't want her to work herself too hard and affect her health. he wanted her to be healthy again. he wanted everything to be back to square one.

the boys were still not speaking to jennie, now yoongi too. just because he spoke something that was right. he hated that girl that they meet everyday for. she was just too attention seeking. he just wanted jennie back.

jennie on the other hand was working hard, too hard. she was so exhausted that she'd pass out in the dance studio on wake up the next day. but she's too used to it now. she just goes home to change or finish her song in the studio. she wanted to hold on, for another 2 weeks, till her solo song came out. then maybe she'll take a rest and focus on her health.

it's the day. the day that her solo song comes out. she was too excited. but exhausted. her body was begging her to get some rest, even a little. she couldn't even see clearly now. her vision is blurry. her ears are blocked. but again, she was used to this.
she had one last thing she had to do before getting her well deserved rest, it's her vlive countdown to her debut. she had to act like she wasn't exhausted. she had to act like she was fine and had a ton of sleep. the makeup helped a lot though. she now looked like she wasn't up all night practicing hard.

halfway into the live, she felt dizzy. she cursed herself and muttered a little 'not now' before shaking her head slightly and continuing the live as if she didn't have a mini headache two seconds ago.

the boys were at the dorm, watching her live countdown. with that girl of course. they still cared for jennie deep down. they just didn't realise that they drifted so they acted like jennie was with them the entire time. of course, yoongi knew the truth. and it was only him, the rest were too occupied with that attention seeking bitch.

3, 2, 1. 'byeee' jennie waved to the camera acting enthusiastically as her music video for her solo song came out.
'and, cut' the director says.

jennie couldn't hold it in anymore. her vision became black, she couldn't see anything. her ears were again blocked and this time, her limbs couldn't take her own weight and she collapse on the carpeted floor, leaving a little thud.

it wasn't left unnoticed this time, all the staff heard.
'jennie!!' someone shouted before she fully went unconscious.

bangtan at home was not disappointed with her solo song. but they all were oblivious to what happened after the vlive. but yoongi felt something weird going through his gut. 'is she okay?' he thought in his mind. he was worried and quickly left the house to find jennie.
