fighting for jennie part 2

another short chapter! 

i'll do a long one in the next chapter, i promise.

no one would've guessed that hoseok has a huge crush on her. i mean, the signs he shows her is normal. he is the sunshine of the group, therefore when he shows love to anyone, no one sees it as him being weird.

and hoseok knows that. he felt stupid for not telling her sooner. he missed the chance he got and now she's with someone else. not that he hated it, he just felt hurt. 

he's happy for her either way but he's been avoiding jennie at all costs. he felt as if he looked in her eyes for more than two seconds, he'd grab her and kiss her or do something stupid. 

jennie understood why he distant himself. she wasn't innocent nor stupid. she wasn't going to act oblivious either. she didn't want to lose friends because of this. she hated when people tried to get away from her. 

she knew why hoseok did it. he didn't want to ruin anything between us of his friends and jennie respected that. but, it doesn't mean she's not going to do anything about it.

she barged into hoseok's room without knocking, surprising him. he redeemed himself and looked at her and said 'yes, jennnie?' 

ouch that sounded like he was mocking her. she pushed that thought and came by him, still ensuring a good distance between them, door opened in case this goes wrong and she needs to bolt out the door. 

'oppa, i'm not stupid. i know why you've been trying to avoid me.' she starts, still staring at him.

he froze, looking down on his feet, suddenly interested in his own toes. 

'and i just wanted to say that this thing you're doing is stupid. it won't work. we've been friends since the start and avoiding me won't do any justice.' she continues..

'damnit, what do i do know?' hoseok had a battle in his head. what was he suppose to say to her. he thought avoiding her would be for the better but now that jennie says it out loud, it does sound stupid.

 he stood up and looked at jennie. 'i'm sorry, i thought it was for the best but i guess it is pretty dumb. can we be normal again?' he questions, hoping that everything was going to be alright.

jennie walks closer to him before wrapping her arms on his waist and muttering 'of course, we're fine.'

hoseok sighed in relief before hugging her as tightly, kissing her forehead.

next few days were all perfect. no fights, no feuds, just a whole lot of movie watching and cuddling. this was what jennie wanted all along. she wanted everyone to get along well with no drama lurking every minute. 

she couldn't have asked for a more perfect group of friends to be an idol with. she would'[ve never imagine to live this life. 

and for once, she felt like stopping time so that she could appreciate everything around her.
