I laughed as I swam with Orm through a cave and when we came out we passed a group of dolphins.

"They are so beautiful." I said softly.

"Yes.... you are... I mean they are." He said softly.

"I wish I could be as free as they are." I said as we set on a rock.

"Don't you like being in Atlantis?" He asked as he watched me.

"Of course I do.... but I want more. I want to travel.... to go to the surface world and... know them. Learn what they know." I said softly.

This was around the time I told Orm almost everything. I told him about my dreams and my hopes, but I would never tell him about my love for him.

"Maybe one day we can go together." He said softly.

"You would have to sneak away from Mera." I said with a laugh.

"Oh yes... my future wife." He said as he let out a sigh.

"What? Don't you want to marry her?" I asked softly.

"Not really.... She is by the book. Never likes to have fun.... I mean she barely talks to me." He said sadly.

"I'm sure it will be fine." I said as I squeezed his hand.

"Apart of me thinks it's your fault she doesn't talk to me anymore." He said with a smirk.

"Why me?" I asked confused.

He smiled as he took off and I chased after him.

"Orm answer my question!" I yelled as I chased after him.

I soon grabbed him and I laughed as I pinned him to the ground. He looked up at me with a smile and before I knew it his lips where on mine. I felt myself kiss back for a split second before I realized what I was doing and I pulled away.

"Why did you do that?" I asked as I moved away from him.

"Because I love you.... I always have." He said softly.

"Orm... you are engaged to Mera."

"Yes and Mera knows about my feelings for you and that's why she doesn't love me." He said softly.

"We can't.... your father wants you to marry-"

"I don't care what he wants! I'm in love with you and I know I always will be." He said as he grabbed my arms and looked down into my eyes.

"Orm.... we can never be together..... I'm sorry." I said before I swam away.

Soon I arrived at the castle and I frowned as I saw Mera.

"Princess Mera." I said calmly.

"I told you not to call me that Alana." She said with a chuckle.

"Sorry, I'm just use to it." I said with a laugh.

"Is Orm with you? We have to talk about our future wedding."

"No... he wanted to swim a bit longer on his own." I said softly.

"I see. Well I will go and find him." She said before she swam away.

"You know it will never happen right?" A voice asked.

I turned to see Murk and frowned.

"What are you talking about?" I asked calmly.

"You and Orm. It will never happen. You are a nobody and he is the soon to be king." He said with a smirk.

"And your a no good bastard so go crawl in a hole." I said as I pushed past him.

"He would never want a half breed!" He yelled.

I stopped and turned to look at him.

"Excuse me?" I asked angrily.

"I know what you are. I overheard your father tell Atlanna a couple years ago. I had no proof, but I know." He said with a smirk.

"How dare you accuse me of being a half breed. I am the daughter of the Counselor and you will show me respect!" I snapped before I walked away.

When I returned home I saw my father reading a book.

"Murk knows." I said calmly.

"Knows what?"

"About me." I said softly.

He looked at me shocked and I explained how he knew.

"We have to be careful. If the king learns we could both be killed. Stay away from Murk for now. Don't get on his bad side." He said calmly.

I nodded my head and I let out groan as I was given homework.
