After a nightmare

You struggled with nightmares a lot, mostly caused by your anxiety. Regardless of what causes it though Demi is aware of how much you struggle with them.

After a nightmare, she likes to reassure that she's there with you, that whatever happened in your nightmare wasn't real. She would hold you tightly in her arms, making sure you felt her there with you.

After nightmares can go two different ways:
one being that Demi will hold you in her arms while whispering sweet nothing in your ear, coaxing you the best she could back to sleep.

Or two: you'd be so shaken up that you'd struggle to fall back asleep and she'd turn on your favorite comedy movie while rubbing your back, just to remind you that she was there. You'd cuddle into her side and she'd kiss your neck or collarbones. Either way, she'd stay awake with you if you were too scared to go back to sleep. She loved you so much and this was one of the many ways she proved it to you.
