She falls asleep on you

It was finally the weekend and you were more than excited to be spending it with Demi. She had just finished a long week at the studio, pulling lots of long hours and even one all nighter, so she was more than relieved to spend a couple days at home relaxing and cuddling with you.

It was nearing 10pm now. You had selected a random movie on Netflix and cuddled close to Demi, her legs stretched out comfortably on the couch with her head resting in your lap while both of her hands held one of yours. You ran your fingers through her short hair and Demi hummed quietly as you did so. You watched as her eyes shut, her eyelashes fluttering against her cheeks. She looked so calm and relaxed, something she hasn't really felt in a few days. "Are you tired baby?" You whispered softly, watching as Demi jumped and opened her eyes. She tilted her head back and looked at you with tired eyes, shaking her head no before yawning and looking back at the tv. "Demi, if you're tired you can sleep. I don't mind." She shook her head again, squeezing your hands and rubbing her thumbs over them. "I'm not sleepy." She mumbled, her voice was coated with sleep and it made you giggle. She was just so adorable.

You nodded your head even though you knew she was lying, deciding to continue to run your fingers through her hair and hopefully coax her to sleep. She'd been working so hard and she deserved to rest. You had the whole weekend to spend together so you wouldn't mind her falling asleep, especially if she was feeling so cozy in your lap. She yawned again as you continued to stroke her hair, her eyes opening and closing repeatedly. You could tell she was fighting to keep them open, but she was losing the fight and was starting to cave into your touch and sleep. "y/n no. I don't wanna sleep. I wanna be with you. I wanna watch this movie with you." She said with her eyes closed and it made you giggle at her once again. "We've got time baby. We can always watch the movie tomorrow. Go to sleep, beautiful. I love you so much." You bent down to kiss her cheek, smiling when she only nodded her head, already drifting off to sleep. "Love you more."

You stayed quiet and still for a few moments, continuing to stroke her hair even when she began to snore, signaling that she'd fallen asleep. You watched the movie for a few more minutes before you started yawning yourself, reaching over Demi, careful not to wake her, before you turned the lamp off and grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch, covering up Demi and yourself. You felt Demi grab your hand and squeeze it again in her sleep making you relax even more, feeling oh so safe and finally drifting off to sleep with Demi.
