She misses you

There was no pain like seeing someone you love so much upset or hurt. You're a sensitive person and you never felt ashamed of that, it meant that you had a fragile heart and there's never anything wrong with that. It was Friday aka the last day of work before the weekend arrived, even better you had a couple vacation days that you were gonna use on Monday and Tuesday, something you hadn't told Demi because you wanted to surprise her.

4:30 finally came around and you grabbed your things from your locker before heading out for a few days with your girl. You were so excited that you practically ran to your car and raced home as fast as you could. You walked through the front door and slipped off your shoes. You saw Demi sitting on the couch from the corner of your eye, a smile on your face when you turned around but your smile quickly vanished when you saw her crying. "Demi?" You ran over to her and wrapped your arms around her, pulling her into your warm embrace. "What's wrong?" "Nothing y/n." "No there's obviously something wrong Demi, you're crying. Why are you crying?" You rubbed her back as she continued to cry quietly, a few sniffles coming from her that made your heart break even more. "It's gonna sound so selfish." "That's okay. Just tell me babe." "I just really miss you. I know we spend the evening together for the most part and we go to sleep together every night but.. I miss spending time with you. I miss waking up next to you and getting to lay there for hours and hours on end, I miss holding you in the early hours of the morning as you slept but I was awake. I know we get the weekend together but I don't know. I just miss being able to love on you every day." You smiled at her words and a giggle escaped your lips, Demi turning towards you with a hurt expression on her face. " I'm sorry Demi. I'm not laughing at you, I just find the timing funny. I'm off till Wednesday baby." She looked at you for a few seconds before she smiled her big beautiful smile, your heart beating a little faster in your chest when she crawled into your lap and kissed all over your face. "You're serious princess?" "Yeah. I have a lot more vacation days than I thought so I figured why not take a couple extra days off and spend it with my favorite girl in the world?" She smiled before pressing her lips against yours, your hands going to wrap around her back. "Thank you Princess" She whispered against your lips as you both smiled. Finally. You finally had a few days with her, doing whatever you two wanted. There was nothing better than that.
