You've been pacing the living room for the past hour, first scared but now upset. It has been hours since Demi was supposed to be home and when you tried to call her it went straight to voicemail. She's been leaving and staying out later than she promises the past few days, and it was really starting to bother you. You two had just gotten married a couple weeks ago and now that you were home, it was like she never wanted to be around you. So far, marriage has not been anything close to what people promised it would be. Blissful, happy, head over heels in love, talking about the possibility of having children together... none of that was happening with the two of you.

You went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and that's when you heard the front door close. You stood in the kitchen trying to keep your angry demeanor up, but you felt more hurt than anything. Demi walked in and gave you a cheesy smile, leaning in to give you a kiss on the cheek when you turned away from her. "What? What did I do?" "You tell me. Where have you been?" "Out. Why?" "You realize you promised me you'd be home four hours ago?" "I know and I'm sorry. I just lost track of time." "Doing what? God Demi! We just got married two weeks ago and it's like I live with a fucking ghost. I thought we'd talk about starting a family together and just enjoy marriage, but you're never here! Do... do you even love me anymore?" She took a sharp breath, pausing to look at you expecting a laugh or a 'gotcha' but she was met with tears in your eyes and a hurt expression on your face.

She pulled you into her arms, wanting to cradle you and just tell you how much she loved you. That's what you deserve after all. "Of course I love you y/n. How could you think that I don't?" "It seems like you'd rather be out with your friends or whatever more than here with me." She sighed, looking at your sock covered feet before back up at you. "I wanted to surprise you. The truth is, I've been in the studio lately. I wrote you a song that I was gonna surprise you with for your birthday next month, but now you're just gonna have to act surprised." You smiled and hugged her close to you, letting her sway your bodies from side to side. "I will! Demi I can't believe you did that." "Well you're my wife now. I'd do anything for you." You kissed her soft lips, letting her tangle her fingers in your hair. "I will never stop loving you. Please don't ever think that I don't love you, okay? I'll love you for the rest of our lives, I promise you." You smiled and rested your forehead on hers, nodding your head as you stared into her brown eyes. "Now.. I think you mentioned talking about children? We should do that. Let's talk about that right now." You giggled as she led you over to the couch, ready to truly talk about your future together.
