I need to live in the now,
not the future
and not in the past
Dwelling on the past makes you miss it
Or makes you overthink mistakes that you can't change
And dwelling on the future breaks your heart
Or makes your expectations too high
But living in the now shows you what you have
It can be scary,
Living in the now also shows you what you have to lose
But living in the now is all you can do
Living in the now helps you too enjoy life a little more,
Instead of dwelling on future heartbreaks or past mistakes
Don't think of what could happen
Think of what is happening now,
Right now
Enjoy it now
Just like you've imagined
He might not be there forever
So live in the now
Enjoy him now
Savor every moment
Because right now
You have him.
