When I'm with you,
Everything is clear.
I know exactly where I'm meant to be.
I know exactly what I want.
You make me so much happier than I realize.
And I'm sure more than you realize.
But when I'm alone...
I'm so confused.
I can't decipher my own feelings.
Everything becomes jumbled up in my head.
I can't think straight.
When I'm with you I feel like I'm following the right path.
When I'm with you,
I know I'm going the right way.
Even when everything around me is chaos.
But when I'm walking alone...
I feel like I'm stumbling through the woods.
I'm out of breath.
I feel like I'm running,
Trying to escape.
But there is no path.
I have to figure out my own way,
But I have no idea where to go
And I have no way to figure my way out.
I'm lost.
I get pulled in a million different directions.
I get so overwhelmed.
I get stuck,
Stranded.
And it feels as if there is no way out
And the fear
The confusion
And the heartbreak
Consumes me.
