I could feel someone looking at me so I look at Colby and see he is looking at my dog tags that I didn't realize until then that I was fiddling with.
I tuck them into my shirt as we pull into the driveway we got out of the car
"We're here," Devyn said happily, I smiled and went to go get my stuff from the trunk of the car to find that Corey, Colby and Sam standing there holding mime and Megan's things.
You don't have to carry our stuff." Megan protested, I quickly agreed, we've always been independent for obvious reasons.
"It's fine, you two barely have any stuff, it's easy to carry." Sam reassured us, I knew they wouldn't just give me my stuff to carry so I gave up and walked inside with Devyn, Kat, and Megan with the boys behind us.
When we walked in there is chatter from the living room, must be the roommates, Aaron and Elton.when 3 dogs come out Magan ran to them and began petting them and being getting licked to death. It made me happy to see her so happy. Aaron and Elton walked into the main area I must have been zoned out because Colby nudged me.
"Hey, are you okay you look a little zoned out?" Colby asked concerned
I was about to answer when Aaron started talking
"Hey, who are these two?" Aaron asks, looking curiously at Megan and I.
"This is Megan." Corey said pointing at her, she smile shyly and wave at them.
"And this is Shae." Kat said pointing to me and I waved
"yeah I am just happy shes happy." I replied to Colby with a little smirk
" A little overprotective are we?"He asked smirking back at me
we continued our little conversation while Megan was talking to everyone else
Wow she really opened up fast to them I am happy for her My only hope is that she gets to stay, she deserves happiness even if I don't.
"Hey, do you want to go see your room?" Kat asked tapping me on the shoulder.
"Sure let's go" I sighed and followed behind them not knowing how long this will last.
