|• Chapter 16, 3rd Person POV •|

"What do you mean?" Jack asked out loud as he pulled away with a frown on his face too.

"We only came to get our stuff, we're going back to our adopted family." Megan said.

"No you can stay here! Please stay here with us..." Jack replied.

"We have to go back, you two aren't our guardians." Megan told him.

"Nor are you old enough to be."Shae add just on the verge of tears

"I'm old enough, I can adopt you two." Jonah said.

"Even if you did adopt us it's a process, it would take a while." Shae told them.

"Can you just give us some time to think?" Megan asks quietly.

"And we already have someone who adopted us they won't even let you try ."Shae said trying not cry.

"We'll fight them, you're our sisters we aren't letting you go again." Jack said in a serious voice but he was clearly trying to hold back his tears.

"Please shae just think about it this is all i have ever wanted since I was 7 was to hold you in my arms and tell you I'm here."Zach said bringing Shae into another tight hug make them both cry again

"Fine but we need to get our stuff and stay with our adopted family for a couple days but we all have phones."Shae said trying to stop crying .

Jack hugs Megan and asks her quietly, "Are you gonna come back soon?"

"I'm not sure, give me a couple days to decide." Megan told him.

Sam and Corey didn't listen to the girls and went to follow them but the door was already closed so instead they lean against the wall outside the door to wait for the girls when all of a sudden they hear, "I'm old enough, I can adopt you two." The two didn't listen after that they were thinking too much, they couldn't lose the girls, they just couldn't. They thought as tears came down their faces, they then rushed back to the car before the girls came back outside and they sent texts to Devyn, Colby and Kat telling them what they heard.

Sam: They're gonna adopt our girls, I can't lose Shae Kat I just can't!

Colby: What's going on Sam?

Kat: It's fine Sam, it'll be okay we won't lose them.

Colby:Sam what's going on what's wrong with Shae.

Sam:Nothings wrong with Shae its her brother and the rest of the guys

Colby:What happened

Sam: We came so they could get their stuff and we want to to the door and heard them talking.

Kat: We aren't going to lose her neither of the boys are even old enough to adopt or be a guardian.

Sam: No Kat one of the boys is old enough and the girls are both old enough to choose who they want to go with if we get taken to court

While Kat tried to comfort Sam, Corey was texting Devyn and elton with tears coming down his face.

Corey: They're gonna adopt the girls, we're gonna lose her...

Devyn: What?! What's going on?

Uncle Elton: Is someone trying to adopt the girls?

Corey: Yeah I can't lose her, I just can't...

Devyn: We're not losing Megan, Corey.

Corey: You didn't hear him Devyn, they're determined to adopt the girls.
