Take Us Back

Clementine and Derek fully sprint towards the old warehouse. "We have to get him back! I can't lose another person I love." Clementine says. "I agree. Let's get AJ." Derek replies. Clementine smiles knowing that Derek feels the same way. They both feel broken and lost without Jeremiah there to guide them.

At the Warehouse

"Lilly! Open up!" Clementine yells. The guard climbs up the tower and points his gun at them. "You again?! The hell do you want?" He calls out. "My kid is in there!" Derek yells. "We just came back to get him." Clementine says. The guard sighs and brings out his walkie talkie. "Lilly, they're back." He says. She responds. "Good." He sets the walkie down and presses the button to let them in. They walk in and notice everyone staring at them. They ignore the looks and proceed to head to the door until it swings open and AJ falls on the ground hard. "Fuckin' little shit." Abel says. "Don't fucking touch him!" Derek yells at Abel. Abel smiles and sticks him with his index finger. "Oops." He says in a sarcastic manner. AJ gets up and has a scratch on his face. The scratch begins bleeding. Derek notices this and begins to clench his fists. "I'm going to kill you." He says in a dark tone. "You're not going to do shit!" Abel yells while grabbing AJ. "Your kid here snuck into our home and killed our people. Then acted like he shot Lilly. You three are in serious shit. Line them up!" He exclaims and the guards point their guns at the back of their heads. Derek and Clem raise their hands. "On your knees." Abel says. "Fuck you. I'm not getting on my knees." Clementine says. "You will oblige, or else I'll crack his head open." Abel says with aggression. "Motherfucker." the guard puts force into the back of Derek's head. "I wouldn't boy." Derek gets on his knees. Clem looks at him with disappointment and shakes her head. "The hell are you doing?" She whispers with anger. "Please Clem. Just do it for AJ." Clementine sighs and places herself on her knees. Abel smiles and lets go of AJ and throws him to Clem and Derek. He looks up at them and crawls to them. The three hug. "We're here now, AJ. I won't let anything happen to you." Clem says. Lilly comes out with a machete laying on her shoulder and slowly approaches the three. "Which one of you wants to take one for the team?" She asks. Derek sits higher and stares at Lilly with burning hatred. She evilly smiles. "Brave." She says. She raises her machete and Christa comes out. "Stop!" She yells. Lilly turns around and stares at Christa. "The hell is your problem?" Lilly responds. "This isn't how we do things. Arvo wouldn't want this." Christa replies. "Arvo is dead because of these people! How about you pull your head outta your ass and realize who the enemies are and do your job?" Lilly says. "She's right." A voice can be heard from the left. Clementine shifts her head to the left and notices a girl with a crossbow. "He wouldn't want this. He would want to place them in a cell." She says. "I don't care what he would want us to do, I'm doing what's best for my people." Lilly calls out. "No, you're not." Clementine says. "You're just an evil bitch who likes to kill people for your own satisfaction." Lilly punches Clem in the face. "Clem!" Derek yells. "I'm going to fucking kill you." Derek says with a dark tone. Lilly gets on Derek's level and places her hand by her ear. "What was that? You're gonna have to speak up." She snarls. Derek stares at her in the eyes and repeats his sentence. "I'm going to fucking kill you. And I can promise you that nothing is going to change that." Lilly laughs. "Your best chance is right now, then." She stands up. "Go ahead. Stand up. Grab a weapon and face me." She says with her arms wide open.

At the Hill

Louis, Violet, Ruby, and Aasim were watching while Violet uses a pair of binoculars. "What do you see? Will they make it?" Ruby asks. She lowers the binoculars down. "They're circled in. Derek and Clem are on their knees while AJ is face down on the ground.." Aasim and Louis look at each other. "We gotta do something!" Louis calls out. "Like what? Run in there and kill every last one of them with the poor amount of weapons we have? We only have one sniper and three pistols. They have automatic weapons and would drill them and us if they find us. That won't work." Violet says. "We have to save them! Why are you so eager to watch them die?!" Louis yells. "How fucking dare you say that!" Violet screams. "They saved US when we desperately needed it. We need to save THEM because they're in trouble and desperately need it." Aasim says. Violet nods. "I know. But there's no way they would survive that." Violet says. "What can we do?" Ruby steps in. "You're right." Violet says. "I got something in mind." Louis says. "What's that?" Violet asks. "Take the shot before she strikes Derek down. The guards would be more focused on who shot from where and get distracted. They would lose their focus on Clem and Derek. They could either fight or make a run for it." Louis says with heart. Violet smiles. "I like it, Lou." Louis smiles. "Prince Charming, one point." He jokes. Violet picks up the sniper and aims at her target.
