The Final Stand

The three exit the house while Jeremiah begins heading to his house. "You gonna be okay?" Derek calls out from behind. Jeremiah stops and turns his head and keeps walking.

Nighttime

Jeremiah exits his house and heads for the gate of Alexandria and Derek notices. He begins chasing after him. "Jeremiah, hey!" He yells. Jeremiah approaches the bike and leans on it, waiting for Derek. Derek finally caught up. "What are you doing?" He asks. "Going for a nighttime drive." Jeremiah says. Jeremiah hands Derek the Colt Python and Derek stares at Jeremiah. "Why?" "For AJ." Derek takes it and places it in his holster. "Where are you gonna go?" Derek questions. Jeremiah stares off into the dark road. "I don't know." He responds. "I'll come if you want-" "No." Jeremiah cuts him off. "I gotta do this alone." "Do what?" Derek asks. "I gotta clear." He says firmly. Derek stares into Jeremiah's eyes and Jeremiah recognizes the look. "Don't worry about me." He says. "I got this." He finishes. Derek and Jeremiah hug and Jeremiah gets on the bike and takes off.

On the Road

Jeremiah was driving on the motorcycle when a pair of hands grab him. He begins getting dragged. Jeremiah looks up and notices a walker dragging him. Jeremiah fights back. He begins punching the walkers arm hard enough for the walker to lose his grip. Jeremiah stands up and tackles the walker down and begins repeatedly punching it. He removes the mask and notices a man inside. The man coughs up blood and begins laughing. Jeremiah gets off of him and takes a of couple steps away and places his hand on his head as he looks down. "That's all you got?" The man asks while laughing. "You ain't shit." Jeremiah continues to ignore him. "That's why your girlfriend died!" He yells and Jeremiah looks back at him. "Just like you and all those other people back at the community will. We're coming for you, and when we get there-" Jeremiah hits the man with a hard right. He sits the man up and gets in his face. "Where is your camp?" He aggressively whispers. The man laughs. Jeremiah begins getting impatient and grabs the mans face. "WHERE IS IT?!" He yells. The man still continues to laugh. Jeremiah takes his knife out and this makes the man worry a bit. "You need a knife to interrogate someone? Fucking pathetic." Jeremiah slams the blade into the ground close to the mans genitals which causes the man to scream. "WHERE?!" The man continues to stay silent. Jeremiah takes the knife out of the dirt and plunges it into the mans leg. He screams in pain. "I'm not going to ask again." He says in a dark tone. "We're in the woods! If you drive, there's a dirt road on your right that you can take that'll lead you to our camp! Close by your home! S-s-should be a ten minute walk." He says. Jeremiah takes the knife out and stands up while staring at the man. The moonlight makes the blade glow and the man stares at it. Jeremiah begins walking away. "Your son is gonna die." The man calls out from behind which causes Jeremiah to stop. "We'll come into your home and snatch him up and put his head on a pike. Your boy is gonna die, prick." The man spits out blood. Jeremiah turns around and fast walks to the man. He raises the knife and stabs the man in the chest and the man screams before he dies. Jeremiah begins repeatedly stabbing the man. He takes the knife out and approaches his motorcycle and gets on. He accelerates to the directions that the man gave him.

At the Whisperers Camp

Jeremiah crouch walks and stares into the camp. Not a very large camp. Only ten Whisperers and five tents. He looks at the campfire and notices a man stitching a suit and cleaning it. Jeremiah has seen enough. He begins going in. He hides behind a tent and peeks his head out from the corner and looks at the man cleaning the suit. He approaches behind the man and holds his mouth. The man tries to scream but is muffled by Jeremiah's hands covering it. Jeremiah inserts the blade into the mans abdomen and the man closes his eyes and dies. Jeremiah drags the body into the woods and waits for more to come.

Ten Minutes Later

More Whisperers show up. Some just got out of tents and some just arrive, making it fifteen Whisperers. Jeremiah aims his gun and begins shooting. He shot four Whisperers while the others take cover. He reloads and waits for them to show their faces. A Whisperer creeps his way towards Jeremiah and stabs him in the side with a knife. Jeremiah yells but hits the man in the face with his gun and takes the Whisperers knife and stabs his throat. The Whisperer begins gargling with his hands trying to pull the knife out. The others come out of hiding and rush Jeremiah but he's too quick. He shoots six of them down. The three still charge at him with knives and swords. Jeremiah holsters his gun and takes his knife out, going into combat stance. A Whisperer swings his sword and Jeremiah ducks, grabbing the Whisperers arm and making him stab his teammate. The stabbed Whisperer screams. Jeremiah takes his sword out of the Whisperer. He hears the other one approaching behind him and brings the sword back, causing the sword to enter inside the mans forehead. Jeremiah takes the sword out and the mans body drops and he faces the wounded Whisperer while slowly approaching him. The Whisperer crawls backward with his hand out and the other covering his wound. "Please no! No, no, no, no, no!" Is the last thing he can yell before Jeremiah sticks the blade into the side of his head. The mans body falls and slides down on the sword, causing it to cut deeper. Jeremiah sighs and begins walking to the bridge.

Daylight

The sun is just rising and Jeremiah begins limping towards the bridge. His wound has been bleeding for the past hour and the blood leaves a trail as he still limps towards the bridge. He finally makes it and watches the sun rise. His eyes water and he smiles. "Clementine, I'm coming home." Is the last thing he can say before his lifeless body collapses to the ground. His soul ascends from his body and Jeremiah looks down on his body as he floats up and lands on a flight of white stairs in front of a golden gate surrounded by a bright blue sky with white clouds. He touches the gate and the gate opens. Jeremiah enters inside. He heads to the left and notices his house from the beginning with Joel and Tim. He touches the door and Joel appears behind him. "Hey kiddo." He calls out. Jeremiah turns around and faces Joel. "You made it." Joel finishes. Tim appears next to Joel. "Hey son." He says. Jeremiah waves and smiles. "So this is what it's like." He says. The form of a woman appears in front of him. It's Clementine. She's in her teenager form and she smiles. She wears her white buttoned up shirt, her white hoodie and her jean jacket. She wears a pair of green jeans and cargo boots. "You're here." She says. "I am." Jeremiah responds. "Can you stay?" Jeremiah looks down and notices the world. He then looks back up at Clementine. "Yes." He says. She smiles and they hug. "Welcome home, Jeremiah." Tim says while staring at Jeremiah and Clementine hugging. Jeremiah has finally arrived home with the family he was destined to be with forever.
