Blaine was walking down the hall when he heard a stunning voice. He stopped, listening.

"-and take in the view
All we see is sky for forever
We let the world pass by for forever
Feels like we could go on for forever this way
Two friends on a perfect day."

He tried to figure out where it was coming from. He followed it down a hallway, accidentally walking past it.

"And we talk and take in the view
We just talk and take in the view."

He realized it was coming from the music room. He had completely forgotten that was there.

"All we see is sky for forever
We let the world pass by for forever"

He carefully pushed open the door, stepping inside the room.

It was Sebastian. His voice was indescribable.

"Feels like we could go on for fore-"

Sebastian's voice faltered and stopped as he saw Blaine in the doorway.

Blaine frowned slightly. He didn't want him to stop.

"Sebastian? What's wrong?" Kurt asked him, coming on the mic.

Blaine watched what happened next in confusion. Sebastian opened his mouth, as if to say something, but didn't. He just shut his mouth again and gestured to the doorway.

Kurt looked over at him, expression going from concerned to irritated. "What are you doing here?"

"I heard a voice singing. But why'd he stop?" Blaine asked.

Kurt rolled his eyes. "Because you're here, idiot."

Sebastian walked out of the booth, looking apprehensive.

"Your voice is amazing," Blaine said.

Sebastian reflexively took a step back, startled. He gave Blaine a nod, not going to attempt to talk and make a fool of himself.

"You can relax. I'm not going to mock you or whatever you're afraid of," Blaine said.

"Coming from the person who says he has the personality of a brick behind his back," Kurt muttered crossly.

"To be fair, it's mostly Thad who says that," Blaine said.

"You're not even denying it!"

"You're the only person who can hold a conversation with him. When anybody else tries, his face is expressionless and he nods and shakes his head until they leave."

"You haven't even bothered to get to know him, you don't-"

Sebastian set his hand on Kurt's shoulder, stopping him. Kurt got the message clearly: he's not worth it.

Kurt sighed, shaking his head. "Whatever. Can you leave, please?"

"Yeah. Okay." Blaine left the room, shutting the door behind him and making it sound like he walked away. He didn't, though.

"How can you let them say that about you?" he heard Kurt saying.

"Kurt, I've been getting shit like this my whole life. Maybe I'm just an idiot, I have the personality of a brick, I'm mute, I'm touched in the head- whatever it is, I've been told it. I'm honestly done giving them the satisfaction of letting it get to me."

"Sebastian, that's awful! And nobody's ever stopped them?"

"Kurt, you're the only person who's bothered to give me the time of day. Everyone else writes me off as a freak, or only talks to me when they need something. You're the only person who's even tried. Them mocking me isn't even my biggest problem right now."

"Then what is?"

"Kurt, the lead of the fucking Warblers just found out I can sing! The rest are going to find out and they'll ask me to join, but I can't, I can't sing in front of them, then they'll hate me and it'll get worse, all of it will get worse-"

"Sebastian. Hey, Sebastian, it'll be okay," Kurt said soothingly.

"How do you know that?"

"I won't let it not be okay. I can talk to Blaine about not telling them."

"I know he has a thing for you, but how do you know he'll listen?"

"A what? Never mind, that's off topic. I know he'll listen. I don't think he's that bad of a person, really."

"He's not a bad person, but he's ambitious as hell. He'd probably do anything that can get them to win and is legal."

"He wouldn't force you to do it, he's not J-" Kurt faltered, clearing his throat. "He's not that kind of person."

There was a pause before Kurt spoke up again.

"I'll tell you about it later, okay? Right now I just need to find Blaine."

Realizing that Kurt was about to leave the room, Blaine booked it down the hall as quietly as he could.
