Val woke up close to noon, her alarm being a phone call. She felt like ignoring it but jumped up at the hopes of it hopefully being one of the places she applied to.

"Hello?" She answered eagerly as she sat up in bed, pulling her hair away from her face, sleep quickly left her body.

"Hi yes? Is this Valeencia Agu-ire?" The voice questioned, she assumed it was a man due to the low voice. She lazily rolled her eyes with a grin. They never said it right.

"Valencia Aguirre? Yes, how may I help you?" She asked politely.

"Hi I'm calling from the music store in Frankenmuth Square? You did apply here right?"

"Ah yes! How are you?"

"I'm fine! I just wanted to let you know that we'd love to set up an interview with you, although I think we just found our new piano teacher. Would you be interested in possibly working register and the sorts?"

"Of course!" She eagerly replied. I'll take register, cleaner or anything! I need a job! She screamed in her thoughts.

"I have Saturday morning, 11 o'clock. Is that fine? I hope you remember our location." They chuckled.

"Absolutely! I'll see you there!" Val was beaming with happiness.

"Great! Saturday 11 o'clock! No special attire just bring your music knowledge and personality, have a rockin' day!" They hung up and Val let out a soft chuckle. 'Have a rockin' day'.

She ran downstairs to Sade, who was sitting at the table enjoying her breakfast. They hugged in glee, Sade was already sure she'd most definitely get the job.

That evening the group met up at the ice rink. The mid-December weather hadn't been kind but it eased up towards the evening.

Emily of course tagged along with Josh. The group agreeing beforehand that they'd be on their best behavior, it was almost Christmas. Not that the holidays should force them into being kind of course.

They made small talk with her, asking how she was and if she was excited for that the night had planned. They planned to skate and maybe go see a movie, unless they wanted to go get a bite then they could just go down to that same diner.

Valencia still had some trouble due to only being on the ice once. Josh wanted to help but Emily was determined to keep him all night so he never even got to offer a hand. It was fine as Sammy and Sade helped out. Jake taunted her as Danny gave her vocal support. Eventually she picked up where she left off, and they were having a great time. She dared herself to go faster, never falling. They taught her to spin and after a couple attempts she was a pro at the basics.

"Guys I love this song!" Sade came over to the tired group as they hung out by the edge, joking around.

The classic Feliz Navidad rang out as Sade made a face at Val, causing her jaw to drop.

"Shut the fuck up Sade." She rolled her eyes, squinting.

"I haven't said anything!" She laughed as the boys watched, holding back laughs. They could sense a fight coming and it was bound to be funny.
