(This chapter is when you finally meet Nanami and the gang!)

You woke up one morning to see the shrine spirits watching you sleep. You quickly sat up and yelled, "WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT WATCHING ME SLEEP!" The two spirits straightened and trembled. "THAT YOU WOULD KILL US AND WEAR OUR HIDES!" They said in unison. "EXACT--. What?! I didn't say that." You sighed and told them to just leave. It has almost been a month since you have become the new Moon God. You've definitely had your struggles on the way. Like, just last week, you were kidnapped by a perverted yōkai, who wanted to do...explicit things to you. Shinjiro, of course, kicked his ass and saved you. And you learned a very important lesson...

Never go to sketchy vending machines.

You chuckled at the memory before you got up and stretched, a cute moan escaping your lips. You turned to see Shinjiro standing there, his cheeks dusted pink. You were about to say something when Itsuki appeared to the right of him. Yukito then appeared at his side. "Lord (m/n), don't forget that today is your first day of school." Itsuki reminded, making Shinjiro's eyes widen. "What? You can't leave this shrine. You must attend to your duties as Moon God." He argued and you frowned.

"I'm also a 17 year old boy who is, by law, supposed to go to school." You shot back. "Yōkai will see that you're a God because of your mark," Ritsuo said as he touched your chest, making your mark glow underneath your shirt. The mark practically screaming "hey I'm a god, so if you want power, come get me". "That's not my fault." You said as you pouted. "Yes, I know. That's where Tsukuyomi's mark was." Shinjiro said. "I'm still getting dressed for school Shinjiro... And besides, no one's going to see my chest anyway." You grabbed your school uniform, missing the feel of them.

"I won't be there to protect you," Shinjiro argued as you took your shirt off. "I'll let you know if my life is in danger, Shinjiro." You said as you slipped on your button-up shirt. Shinjiro was about to say something, but you beat him to it. "Can you please leave now, I want to finish getting dressed," You ordered and he frowned and closed the door behind him. You finished getting dressed and put your hair up. You looked into the mirror, pleased with your looks. You touched your hair again, wondering if you should cut it or not since its length was for your mom.

You decided to leave that decision for another day.

You walked out of your room with your school bag and towards the front door. That's where you saw Shinjiro standing there with his arms crossed. You went to leave, but he stood in front of you. You gave him an annoyed glare. "I insist that you do not leave the shrine, my lord," Shinjiro said and you frowned. "I heard you loud and clear, but I'd rather follow the law of the land and go to school like everybody else my age," you played that card which he couldn't ignore. He sighed in defeat as he stepped aside. You patted his shoulder, telling him that you would be fine. You walked out the door and went to the bus stop.

Once you reached your school, you found your homeroom and got a list of your classes. You settled at a random desk since this was a completely new school for you. When you were getting settled in your seat, the other students whispered about you "Eee, he's so cute!" One of the girls said. "I wonder what he uses for his hair. It looks so soft!" Another girl said. You glanced at the two girls, only making them squeal even more. "That's strange... am I actually found attractive?" You asked yourself as you looked at other students, only to have them quickly look away.

You were taken out of your thoughts when the door slammed open, letting in huge amounts of fog and...rock music? And...are those feathers? Then a figure stepped out of the fog, who just happens to be a boy with dark red hair and heavy eyeshadow. He appeared to be looking at a girl in an ugly, purple hat, but the other girls thought differently, "No way, I just gazed into Kurama's eyes!" One squealed. "No way, he was looking at me!"
