Of Wedding Cakes and Dresses

Prologue

A/N: This is the sequel to "Falling In Love Over Cake". It takes place days after the epilogue of the first story, and follows Misa as she tries to plan her dream wedding. Enjoy!

"Misa! Sis, where are you?"

Relaxing in the hammock in her parents' backyard, Misa lazily opened her eyes. "Out here!" she called out, reveling in the lulling rocking motion. She closed her eyes again, completely relaxed.

The sliding doors to the kitchen suddenly slid open, drawing her attention. She watched as SoRi stepped out onto the deck, followed by her four other sisters-in-law, JooLi, SunRi, Hye Bin and Ae Young. "We have something for you," SoRi announced, as they approached.

Misa sat up, staring curiously at them. "Oh?" she asked, swinging her feet over the side of the hammock. Her bare feet touched the lawn, and instinctively, she felt her toes wiggle, savoring the feel of the blades of grass between them.

Standing shoulder to shoulder, the five Park wives solemnly faced the young woman. JooLi handed a pink binder to SoRi, the oldest, who handed it to Misa. "For you," SoRi said, smiling. The others grinned.

Studying them for a moment, Misa cocked an eyebrow at them. "Why do I feel like I have to make some sort of human sacrifice for this?" she joked, holding the binder up.

Ae Young rolled her eyes. "Just open it, sis!" she told her, grinning.

Misa flipped it open and found pages upon pages of what she recognized as their different handwritings. There were dividers and pockets, each filled to capacity with more paper and pictures. She closed the binder, taking a look at the cover. The Park Sisters' Wedding Guide: How Not To Go Crazy Over Your Big Day, the simple title read.

"You're marrying Kyuhyun, an idol," SunRi explained, looking very amused when Misa looked at them, puzzled. "Your engagement and wedding planning will be totally different from ours, but the same basic principles apply."

"So, we thought we'd put this together," SoRi added, grinning.

Hye Bin outright giggled. "Because heaven knows you're going to need all the help you can get!" she teased, and the others fervently nodded in agreement.

Misa silently stared at them, studying their knowing grins, and suddenly wondered just what exactly she'd gotten herself into.
