Chapter 4: Selecting A Wedding Dress

Make sure you can breathe in it! It's important that you DO NOT faint at the altar...or walking down the aisle.~SunRi

It should reflect your personality...unless you really are poufy, white mushroom! ~Hye Bin

I DID NOT look like a poufy, white mushroom! ~JooLi

Um, sorry, sis! But, you did! ~SunRi

Well not everyone is as skinny as you, SunRi! ~JooLi

HELLO?! Why do we always get off topic? Anyway, your wedding dress should flatter your figure; it is, after all, the one day you get to shine above all others. ~SoRi

But, not too revealing! Modest, but still able to scream SEXY! ~AeYoung

The screaming comes AFTER the groom throws the wedding dress to the floor! *devilishly smiles*~SoRi

*stares* I CANNOT believe you just wrote that! ~JooLi

When Kyuhyun entered his apartment a few days later, he was greeted by the sight of Zhoumi and Misa sleeping on the couch. Apparently the two had been watching a movie and fallen asleep; Zhoumi’s head rested on top of Misa’s as she snuggled into his side, her feet curled under her.

Turning the tv off, Kyuhyun turned to silently study the pair, his eyes slightly darkening at Zhoumi’s arm around Misa’s shoulders. They looked peaceful, very comfortable, almost like a couple.

It bothered Kyuhyun.

If he was really honest with himself, he would admit that Misa’s friendship with Zhoumi bothered him on a tiny level. It wasn’t that he was worried that Misa would ever leave him for Zhoumi or that the Chinese man would make a play for her; no, what bothered him was the history the two had together, a history that didn’t include him.

It was childish and petty, he knew, but he couldn’t help it. Misa had become his everything and he felt as if she truly belonged to him and him alone. Knowing that Zhoumi had had the privilege of growing up with Misa and secured a place in her life, as well as her heart before him made him feel…well, jealous.

Donghae, Ryeowook and Eunhyuk had also developed close relationships with Misa, but that didn’t bother Kyuhyun as much as Zhoumi’s attachment did. If he asked himself why, he knew it was for the simple reason that they’d started their history with Misa at the same time as he had; they were on equal ground, unlike Zhoumi, who had a head start.

He didn’t hate Zhoumi, not at all. He didn’t think there was a single person on the earth that could ever hate the friendly, optimistic Chinese man once they’d gotten to know him. He just wished that Zhoumi wasn’t as close to his Misa.

It was something he definitely had to come to grips with.

Inwardly sighing, Kyuhyun stepped closer to the pair and gently shook Zhoumi’s shoulder. “Mimi,” he whispered to him. “Hey, Zhoumi!”

With a sudden jerk, Zhoumi’s eyes flew open and immediately fell on the sleeping girl beside him. Once he saw that she was still sleeping, his eyes met Kyuhyun’s. “Oh, Kui Xian!” he greeted, softly. “You’re home.” He yawned.

“When did Misa get here?” Kyuhyun asked, nodding slightly to her.

Zhoumi checked his watch. “About an hour ago,” he answered, “She’d just finished with her appointment with RyRy.” He carefully removed his arm from around her shoulders and lowered her to the couch as he stood up.
